Revelation 11:9-19

9Those from 1the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead 2bodies for three and a half days, and 34will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. 10And 5those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will 6send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented 7those who dwell on the earth.

11But after the three and a half days, 8the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. 12And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “9Come up here.” Then they 10went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them. 13And in that hour there was a great 11earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; 12seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and 13gave glory to the 14God of heaven.

14The second 15woe is past; behold, the third woe is coming quickly.

15Then the 16seventh angel sounded; and there were 17loud voices in heaven, saying,

“18The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of 19His 20Christ; and 21He will reign forever and ever.” 16And the twenty-four elders, who 22sit on their thrones before God, 23fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying,

“We give You thanks, 24O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to 25reign. 18And 26the nations were enraged, and 27Your wrath came, and 28the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to 29reward Your 30bond-servants the prophets and the 31saints and those who fear Your name, 32the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

19And 33the 34temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and 35the ark of His covenant appeared in His 36temple, and there were flashes of 37lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a 38great 39hailstorm.
