14Then saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֜הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414, It isfalseשֶׁ֗קֶרShe.kerH8267;I fall not awayנֹפֵל֙no.FelH5307to the Chaldeansהַכַּשְׂדִּ֔יםha.kas.DimH3778.But he hearkenedשָׁמַ֖עsha.Ma'H8085not to him: so Irijahיִרְאִיָּיה֙yir.'i.YaihH3376tookוַיִּתְפֹּ֤שׂvai.yit.PosH8610Jeremiahבְּיִרְמְיָ֔הוּbe.yir.me.Ya.huH3414,and broughtוַיְבִאֵ֖הוּvay.vi.'E.huH935him to the princesהַשָּׂרִֽים׃ha.sa.RimH8269.
15Wherefore the princesהַשָּׂרִ֛יםha.sa.RimH8269were wrothוַיִּקְצְפ֧וּvai.yik.tze.FuH7107with Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414,and smoteוְהִכּ֣וּve.hi.KuH5221him, and putוְנָתְנ֨וּve.na.te.NuH5414him in prisonהָאֵס֗וּרha.'e.SurH612in the houseH1004of Jonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֣ןye.ho.na.TanH3083the scribeהַסֹּפֵ֔רha.so.FerH5608:for they had madeעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213that the prisonהַכֶּֽלֶא׃ha.Ke.le'H3608.
16When Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֛הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414was enteredבָ֧אva'H935into the dungeonבֵּ֥ית הַבּ֖וֹרbeit ha.BorH953H1004,and into the cabinsהַֽחֲנֻ֑יוֹתha.cha.Nu.yotH2588,and Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414had remainedוַיֵּֽשֶׁב־vai.ye.shev-H3427there manyרַבִּֽים׃ פra.BimH7227daysיָמִ֥יםya.MimH3117;
