2And it shall come to pass, if they sayיֹאמְר֥וּyo.me.RuH559unto thee, Whither shall we go forthנֵצֵ֑אne.Tze'H3318?then thou shalt tellוְאָמַרְתָּ֨ve.'a.mar.TaH559them, Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068; Such as arefor deathלַמָּ֤וֶתla.Ma.vetH4194,to deathלַמָּ֙וֶת֙la.Ma.vetH4194; and such as arefor the swordלַחֶ֙רֶב֙la.Che.revH2719,to the swordלַחֶ֔רֶבla.Che.revH2719; and such as arefor the famineלָֽרָעָב֙la.ra.'AvH7458,to the famineלָֽרָעָ֔בla.ra.'AvH7458; and such as arefor the captivityלַשְּׁבִ֖יla.she.ViH7628,to the captivityלַשֶּֽׁבִי׃la.She.viH7628.
3And I will appointוּפָקַדְתִּ֨יu.fa.kad.TiH6485over them fourאַרְבַּ֤ע'ar.Ba'H702kindsמִשְׁפָּחוֹת֙mish.pa.chOtH4940,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068:the swordהַחֶ֣רֶבha.Che.revH2719to slayלַֽהֲרֹ֔גla.ha.RogH2026,and the dogsהַכְּלָבִ֖יםha.ke.la.VimH3611to tearלִסְחֹ֑בlis.ChoH5498,and the fowlsע֧וֹףofH5775of the heavenהַשָּׁמַ֛יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and the beastsבֶּהֱמַ֥תbe.he.MatH929of the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776,to devourלֶאֱכֹ֥לle.'e.KholH398and destroyוּלְהַשְׁחִֽית׃u.le.hash.ChitH7843.
4And I will causeוּנְתַתִּ֣יםu.ne.ta.TimH5414them to be removedלְזַֽעֲוָ֔הliz.va.'ahH2113H2189into all kingdomsמַמְלְכ֣וֹתmam.le.KhotH4467of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,becauseבִּ֠גְלַלBig.lalH1558of Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֤הme.na.ShehH4519the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of HezekiahH3169kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063, for thatwhich he didעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃bi.ru.sha.LimH3389.
6Thou hast forsakenנָטַ֥שְׁתְּna.TashtH5203me, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,thou art goneH3212backwardאָח֣וֹר'a.ChorH268:therefore will I stretch outוָאַ֨טva.'AtH5186my handיָדִ֤יya.DiH3027against thee, and destroyוָֽאַשְׁחִיתֵ֔ךְva.'ash.chi.TekhH7843thee; I am wearyנִלְאֵ֖יתִיnil.'Ei.tiH3811with repentingהִנָּחֵֽם׃hi.na.ChemH5162.
7And I will fanוָאֶזְרֵ֥םva.'ez.RemH2219them with a fanבְּמִזְרֶ֖הbe.miz.RehH4214in the gatesבְּשַׁעֲרֵ֣יbe.sha.'a.ReiH8179of the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776;I will bereaveשִׁכַּ֤לְתִּיshi.Kal.tiH7921themof children, I will destroyאִבַּ֙דְתִּי֙'i.Bad.tiH6my peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971, sincethey returnשָֽׁבוּ׃Sha.vuH7725not from their waysמִדַּרְכֵיהֶ֖םmi.dar.khei.HemH1870.
8Their widowsאַלְמְנֹתָיו֙'al.me.no.TavH490are increasedעָֽצְמוּ־'a.tze.mu-H6105to me above the sandמֵח֣וֹלme.CholH2344of the seasיַמִּ֔יםya.MimH3220:I have broughtהֵבֵ֨אתִיhe.Ve.tiH935upon them against the motherאֵ֛ם'emH517of the young menבָּח֖וּרba.ChurH970a spoilerשֹׁדֵ֣דsho.DedH7703at noondayבַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִםba.tzo.ho.Ra.yimH6672: I have caused himto fallהִפַּ֤לְתִּיhi.Pal.tiH5307upon it suddenlyפִּתְאֹ֔םpit.'OmH6597,and terrorsוּבֶהָלֽוֹת׃u.ve.ha.LotH928upon the cityעִ֖יר'irH5892.
