Psalms 78:2-8
2I will openH6605 my mouthH6310 in parablesH4912; I will utterH5042 things hiddenH2420 fromH4480 the beginningH6924,13thatH834 we have heardH8085 and knownH3045 and our fathersH1 have relayedH5608 to us.4We will notH3808 hideH3582 them from their childrenH1121 but will declareH5608 to the nextH314 generationH1755 the praisesH8416 of the LORDH3068 and His mightH5807 and the wondersH6381 He has performedH6213.
5For He establishedH6965 a testimonyH5715 in JacobH3290and appointedH7760 a lawH8451 in IsraelH3478,whichH834 He commandedH6680 our fathersH1to teachH3045 to their childrenH1121,6thatH4616 the comingH314 generationH1755 would know themH3045—even childrenH1121 yet to be bornH3205—to ariseH6965 and tellH5608 their own childrenH11217that they should putH7760 their confidenceH3689 in GodH430,notH3808 forgettingH7911 His worksH4611,but keepingH5341 His commandmentsH4687.8Then they will notH3808 beH1961 like their fathersH1,a stubbornH5637 and rebelliousH4784 generationH1755,whose heartH3820 was notH3808 loyalH3559,whose spiritH7307 was notH3808 faithfulH539 toH854 GodH410.
