Psalms 22:1-21
My GodH410, my GodH410,whyH4100 have You forsaken meH5800?1Why are You so farH7350 from saving meH3444,so far from my wordsH1697 of groaningH7581?2I cry outH7121 by dayH3119, O my GodH430,but You do not answerH6030H3808,and by nightH3915,but I have noH3808 restH1747.
Yet YouH859 are holyH6918,enthronedH3427 on the praisesH8416 of IsraelH3478.4In You our fathersH1 trustedH982;they trustedH982 and You delivered themH6403.5They cried outH2199 to YouH413 and were set freeH4422;they trustedH982 in You and were notH3808 disappointedH954.
But IH595 am a wormH8438 and notH3808 a manH376,scornedH2781 by menH120 and despisedH959 by the peopleH5971.7AllH3605 who see meH7200 mockH3932 me;they sneerH6362H8193 and shakeH5128 their headsH7218:8“He trustsH1556 inH413 the LORDH3068,let the LORD deliver himH6403;let the LORD rescue himH5337,sinceH3588 He delightsH2654 in him.”2
YetH3588 YouH859 brought me forthH1518 from the wombH990;You made me secureH982 atH5921 my mother’sH517 breastH7699.10From birthH7358 I was castH7993 upon YouH5921;from my mother’sH517 wombH990 YouH859 have been my GodH410.11Be notH408 farH7368 from meH4480,forH3588 troubleH6869 is nearH7138andH3588 there is noH369 one to helpH5826.
ManyH7227 bullsH6499 surround meH5437;strongH47 bulls of BashanH1316 encircle meH3803.13They openH6475 their jawsH6310 against meH5921like lionsH738 that roarH7580 and maulH2963.14I am poured outH8210 like waterH4325,and allH3605 my bonesH6106 are disjointedH6504.My heartH3820 isH1961 like waxH1749;it melts awayH4549 withinH8432 meH4578.15My strengthH35813 is dried upH3001 like a potsherdH2789,and my tongueH3956 sticksH1692 to the roof of my mouthH4455.You lay meH8239 in the dustH6083 of deathH4194.
ForH3588 dogsH3611 surround meH5437;a bandH5712 of evil menH7489 encircles meH5362;they have piercedH738 my handsH3027 and feetH7272.417I can countH5608 allH3605 my bonesH6106;theyH1992 stareH5027 and gloatH7200 over me.18They divideH2505 my garmentsH899 among themand castH5307 lotsH1486 forH5921 my clothingH3830.5
But YouH859, O LORDH3068, be notH408 far offH7368;O my StrengthH360, come quicklyH2363 to help meH5833.20DeliverH5337 my soulH5315 from the swordH2719,my precious lifeH3173 from the powerH3027 of wild dogsH3611.21Save meH3467 from the mouthH6310 of the lionH738;at the hornsH7161 of the wild oxenH7214 You have answered meH6030!
