Job 21:7-21

7WhyH4069 do the wickedH7563 live onH2421, growing oldH6275 andH1571 increasingH1396 in powerH2428?8Their descendantsH2233 are establishedH3559 around themH5973H6440, and their offspringH6631 before their eyesH5869.9Their homesH1004 are safeH7965 from fearH6343; noH3808 rod of punishmentH7626 from GodH433 is upon themH5921.10Their bullsH7794 breedH5674 withoutH3808 failH1602; their cowsH6510 bear calvesH6403 and do notH3808 miscarryH7921.11They send forthH7971 their little onesH5759 like a flockH6629; their childrenH3206 skip aboutH7540,12singingH5375 to the tambourineH8596 and lyreH3658 and making merryH8055 at the soundH6963 of the fluteH5748.13They spendH1086 their daysH3117 in prosperityH2896 and go downH5181 to SheolH7585 in peaceH7281.114Yet they sayH559 to GodH410: ‘Leave us aloneH5493H4480! For we have noH3808 desireH2654 to knowH1847 Your waysH1870.15WhoH4100 is the AlmightyH7706, thatH3588 we should serve HimH5647, and whatH4100 would we gainH3276 ifH3588 we prayH6293 to Him?’16StillH2005, their prosperityH2898 is notH3808 in their own handsH3027, so I stay farH7368H4480 from the counselH6098 of the wickedH7563.
