Kings 16:6-14
And BaashaH1201 restedH7901 withH5973 his fathersH1 and was buriedH6912 in TirzahH8656, and his sonH1121 ElahH425 reignedH4427 in his placeH8478.
MoreoverH1571, the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 throughH3027 the prophetH5030 JehuH3058 sonH1121 of HananiH2607 againstH413 BaashaH1201 and his houseH1004, because ofH5921 allH3605 the evilH7451 he had doneH6213 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068, provoking Him to angerH3707 with the workH4639 of his handsH3027 and becomingH1961 like the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379, and alsoH5921 becauseH834 Baasha had struck downH5221 the house of Jeroboam.
In the twenty-sixthH6242H8337 yearH8141 of Asa’sH609 reignH4428 over JudahH3063, ElahH425 sonH1121 of BaashaH1201 became kingH4427 ofH5921 IsraelH3478, and he reigned in TirzahH8656 two yearsH8141.
However, while ElahH1931 was in TirzahH8656 getting drunkH8354H7910 in the houseH1004 of ArzaH777 the stewardH5921 of his householdH1004 there, Elah’s servantH5650 ZimriH2174, the commanderH8269 of halfH4276 his chariotsH7393, conspiredH7194 against himH5921. 10So in the twenty-seventhH6242H7651 yearH8141 of Asa’sH609 reignH4428 over JudahH3063, ZimriH2174 went inH935, struck Elah downH5221, and killed himH4191. And Zimri reignedH4427 in his placeH8478.
As soon asH1961 Zimri began to reignH4427 and was seatedH3427 onH5921 the throneH3678, he struck downH5221 the entireH3605 householdH1004 of BaashaH1201. He did notH3808 leaveH7604 a single maleH8366H7023, whether a kinsmanH1350 or friendH7453. 12So ZimriH2174 destroyedH8045 the entireH3605 householdH1004 of BaashaH1201, according to the wordH1697 thatH834 the LORDH3068 had spokenH1696 againstH413 BaashaH1201 throughH3027 JehuH3058 the prophetH5030. 13This happened because ofH413 allH3605 the sinsH2403 BaashaH1201 and his sonH1121 ElahH425 had committedH2398 and had caused IsraelH3478 to commitH2398, provokingH3707 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of Israel, to angerH3478 with their worthless idolsH1892.
As for the restH3499 of the actsH1697 of ElahH425, along with allH3605 his accomplishmentsH834H6213, are theyH1992 notH3808 writtenH3789 inH5921 the BookH5612 of the ChroniclesH1697H3117 of the KingsH4428 of IsraelH3478?
