13So the angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖ה אֶל־Yah.weh 'el-H3068 H413answeredוַיֹּ֛אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559Manoahמָנ֑וֹחַma.No.achH4495, “Your wifeהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802is to doתִּשָּׁמֵֽר׃ti.sha.MerH8104everythingמִכֹּ֛לmi.KolH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I told herאָמַ֥רְתִּי אֶל־'a.Mar.ti 'el-H559 H413.

14She must notלֹ֣אlo'H3808eatתֹאכַ֗לto.KhalH398anythingמִכֹּ֣לmi.KolH3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834comesיֵצֵא֩ye.Tze'H3318from the vineמִגֶּ֨פֶן הַיַּ֜יִןmi.Ge.fen hai.Ya.yinH1612 H3196,nor drinkתֵּ֔שְׁתְּTe.shetH8354any wineוְיַ֤יִןve.Ya.yinH3196or strong drinkוְשֵׁכָר֙ve.she.KharH7941,norאַל־'al-H408eatתֹּאכַ֑לto.KhalH398anythingוְכָל־ve.kholH3605uncleanטֻמְאָ֖ה אַל־tum.'Ah 'al-H2932 H408.She must doתִּשְׁמֹֽר׃tish.MorH8104everythingכֹּ֥לkolH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I have commanded herצִוִּיתִ֖יהָtzi.vi.Ti.haH6680.”

15“Pleaseנָּ֣אna'H4994stay hereנַעְצְרָה־na'.tze.rah-H6113אוֹתָ֔ךְ'o.TakhH853,”Manoahמָנ֖וֹחַ אֶל־ma.No.ach 'el-H4495 H413saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “and we will prepareוְנַעֲשֶׂ֥הve.na.'a.SehH6213a young goatגְּדִ֥י עִזִּֽים׃ge.Di 'i.ZimH1423 H5795for youלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440.”

16And the angelמַלְאַ֨ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068repliedוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559אֶל־'el-H413מָנ֗וֹחַma.No.achH4495, “Even ifאִם־'im-H518I stayתַּעְצְרֵ֙נִי֙ta'.tze.Re.niH6113,I will notלֹא־lo'-H3808eatאֹכַ֣ל'o.KhalH398your foodבְּלַחְמֶ֔ךָbe.lach.Me.khaH3899.But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you prepareתַּעֲשֶׂ֣הta.'a.SehH6213a burnt offeringעֹלָ֔ה'o.LahH5930,offer itתַּעֲלֶ֑נָּהta.'a.Le.nahH5927to the LORDלַיהוָ֖הla.Yah.wehH3068.”Forכִּ֚יkiH3588Manoahמָנ֔וֹחַ כִּֽי־ma.No.ach ki-H4495 H3588did notלֹא־lo'-H3808knowיָדַ֣עya.Da'H3045thatitהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931wasthe angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.

17Then Manoahמָנ֛וֹחַma.No.achH4495saidוַיֹּ֧אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413the angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, “Whatמִ֣יmiH4310is your nameשְׁמֶ֑ךָshe.Me.khaH8034,so thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588we may honor youוְכִבַּדְנֽוּךָ׃ve.khi.bad.Nu.khaH3513when your wordדְבָרְךָ֖div.rei.khaH1697comes to passיָבֹ֥אya.Vo'H935?”

18“Whyלָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖הLa.mah zehH4100 H2088do you askתִּשְׁאַ֣לtish.'AlH7592my nameלִשְׁמִ֑יlish.MiH8034,”saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “since itוְהוּא־ve.hu'-H1931is beyond comprehensionפֶ֛לִאי׃ סFe.liH6383?”

19Then Manoahמָנ֜וֹחַma.No.achH4495אֶת־'et-H853tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947a young goatגְּדִ֤י הָעִזִּים֙ge.Di ha.'i.ZimH1423 H5795וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and a grain offeringהַמִּנְחָ֔הha.min.ChahH4503and offered themוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927onעַל־'al-H5921a rockהַצּ֖וּרha.TzurH6697to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068.And as Manoahוּמָנ֥וֹחַu.ma.No.achH4495and his wifeוְאִשְׁתּ֖וֹve.'ish.ToH802looked onרֹאִֽים׃ro.'ImH7200,the LORD didלַעֲשׂ֔וֹתla.'a.SotH6213a marvelous thingוּמַפְלִ֣אu.maf.Li'H6381.

20וַיְהִי֩vay.HiH1961When the flameהַלַּ֜הַבha.La.havH3851went upבַעֲל֨וֹתva.'a.LotH5927fromמֵעַ֤לme.'AlH5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196to the skyהַשָּׁמַ֔יְמָהha.sha.May.mahH8064,the angelמַלְאַךְ־mal.'akh-H4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068ascendedוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927in theהַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַha.miz.Be.achH4196flameבְּלַ֣הַבbe.La.havH3851.When Manoahוּמָנ֤וֹחַu.ma.No.achH4495and his wifeוְאִשְׁתּוֹ֙ve.'ish.ToH802sawרֹאִ֔יםro.'ImH7200this,they fellוַיִּפְּל֥וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307facedownעַל־ פְּנֵיהֶ֖ם'al- pe.nei.HemH5921 H6440to the groundאָֽרְצָה׃'A.re.tzahH776.

21And when the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068did notוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808appearלְהֵרָאֹ֖הle.he.ra.'OhH7200againיָ֤סַף עוֹד֙Ya.saf 'OdH3254 H5750toאֶל־'el-H413Manoahמָנ֣וֹחַma.No.achH4495andוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413his wifeאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ'ish.ToH802אָ֚ז'azH227,Manoahמָנ֔וֹחַma.No.achH4495realizedיָדַ֣עya.Da'H3045thatכִּֽי־ki-H3588itהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931had beenthe angelמַלְאַ֥ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.
