9The Ammonitesבְנֵֽי־ עַמּוֹן֙ve.nei- 'a.mOnH1121 H5983אֶת־'et-H853alsoגַּם־gam-H1571crossedוַיַּעַבְר֤וּvai.ya.'av.RuH5674the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּ֔ןhai.yar.DenH3383to fightלְהִלָּחֵ֛םle.hi.la.ChemH3898against Judahבִּיהוּדָ֥הbi.hu.DahH3063,Benjaminוּבְבִנְיָמִ֖יןu.ve.vin.ya.MinH1144,and the houseוּבְבֵ֣יתu.ve.VeitH1004of Ephraimאֶפְרָ֑יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,and Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לle.Yis.ra.'ElH3478was in deepמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966distressוַתֵּ֥צֶרva.Te.tzerH3334.

10Then the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478cried outוַֽיִּזְעֲקוּ֙vai.yiz.'a.KuH2199toאֶל־'el-H413the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “We have sinnedחָטָ֣אנוּcha.Ta.nuH2398against You,for we have indeedוְכִ֤יve.KhiH3588forsakenעָזַ֙בְנוּ֙'a.Zav.nuH5800אֶת־'et-H853our Godאֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430and servedוַֽנַּעֲבֹ֖דva.na.'a.VodH5647אֶת־'et-H853the Baalsהַבְּעָלִֽים׃ פha.be.'a.LimH1168.”

11The LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068repliedוַ֥יֹּאמֶרVai.yo.merH559אֶל־'el-H413בְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121יִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478הֲלֹ֤אha.Lo'H3808, “When the Egyptiansמִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ וּמִן־mi.mitz.Ra.yim u.min-H4714 H4480,Amoritesהָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י וּמִן־ha.'e.mo.Ri u.min-H567 H4480,Ammonitesבְּנֵ֥י עַמּ֖וֹן וּמִן־be.Nei a.Mon u.min-H1121 H5983 H4480,Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃pe.lish.TimH6430,

17Then the Ammonitesבְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹןbe.Nei a.MonH1121 H5983were called to armsוַיִּצָּֽעֲקוּ֙vai.yi.tza.'a.KuH6817and campedוַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּvai.ya.cha.NuH2583in Gileadבַּגִּלְעָ֑דba.gil.'AdH1568,and the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478assembledוַיֵּאָֽסְפוּ֙vai.ye.'a.se.FuH622and campedוַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּvai.ya.cha.NuH2583at Mizpahבַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ba.mitz.PahH4709.
