12And Calebכָּלֵ֔בka.LevH3612saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “To the manאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834who strikes downיַכֶּ֥הya.KehH5221אֶת־'et-H853Kiriath-sepherH7158and captures itוּלְכָדָ֑הּu.le.kha.DahH3920,I will giveוְנָתַ֥תִּיve.na.Ta.tiH5414אֶת־'et-H853my daughterבִתִּ֖יvi.TiH1323Acsahעַכְסָ֥ה'akh.SahH5915in marriageלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802.”
13So Othnielעָתְנִיאֵ֣ל'a.te.ni.'ElH6274sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Caleb’sכָלֵ֖בkha.LevH3612youngerהַקָּטֹ֣ן מִמֶּ֑נּוּha.ka.Ton mi.Me.nuH6996H4480brotherאֲחִ֥י'a.ChiH251Kenazקְנַ֔זke.NazH7073capturedוַֽיִּלְכְּדָהּ֙vai.yil.ke.DahH3920the city,and Caleb gaveוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414אֶת־'et-H853his daughterבִתּ֖וֹvi.ToH1323Acsahעַכְסָ֥ה'akh.SahH5915to himin marriageלְאִשָּֽׁה׃le.'i.ShahH802.
14One dayוַיְהִ֣יvay.HiH1961Acsahcameבְּבוֹאָ֗הּbe.vo.'AhH935to Othnieland urged himוַתְּסִיתֵ֙הוּ֙va.te.si.Te.huH5496to askלִשְׁא֤וֹלlish.'olH7592מֵֽאֵת־me.'et-H854her fatherאָבִ֙יהָ֙'a.Vi.haH1for a fieldהַשָּׂדֶ֔הha.sa.DehH7704.When she got offוַתִּצְנַ֖ח מֵעַ֣לva.titz.Nach me.'AlH6795H5921her donkeyהַחֲמ֑וֹרha.cha.MorH2543,Calebכָּלֵ֖בka.LevH3612askedוַיֹּֽאמֶר־vai.yo.mer-H559her, “Whatמַה־mah-H4100do you desire?”
