6So they tookוַיִּקְח֣וּvai.yik.ChuH3947אֶֽת־'et-H853Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֗הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414and droppedוַיַּשְׁלִ֨כוּvai.yash.Li.khuH7993himאֹת֜וֹ'o.ToH853intoאֶל־'el-H413the cisternהַבּ֣וֹר׀ha.BorH953of Malchiahמַלְכִּיָּ֣הוּmal.ki.Ya.huH4441,the king’sהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428sonבֶן־ven-H1121,whichאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834was in the courtyardבַּחֲצַ֣רba.cha.TzarH2691of the guardהַמַּטָּרָ֔הha.ma.ta.RahH4307.They loweredוַיְשַׁלְּח֥וּvay.sha.le.ChuH7971אֶֽת־'et-H853Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414with ropesבַּחֲבָלִ֑יםba.cha.va.LimH2256into the cisternוּבַבּ֤וֹרu.va.BorH953,which had noאֵֽין־'ein-H369waterמַ֙יִם֙ma.yimH4325but onlyכִּ֣י אִם־ki 'im-H3588H518mudטִ֔יטTitH2916,and Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414sank downוַיִּטְבַּ֥עvai.yit.Ba'H2883into the mudבַּטִּֽיט׃ סba.TitH2916.
