17They keep sayingH559to those who despise Meלִֽמְנַאֲצַ֔יlim.na.'a.TzaiH5006, ‘The LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068says thatדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696you will haveיִֽהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961peaceשָׁל֖וֹםsha.LomH7965,’ andH559to everyoneוְ֠כֹלVe.kholH3605who walksהֹלֵ֞ךְho.LekhH1980in the stubbornnessבִּשְׁרִר֤וּתbish.ri.RutH8307of his own heartלִבּוֹ֙li.BoH3820, ‘Noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808harmרָעָֽה׃ra.'AhH7451will comeתָב֥וֹאta.Vo'H935to youעֲלֵיכֶ֖ם'a.lei.KhemH5921.’

19Beholdהִנֵּ֣ה׀hi.NehH2009,the stormסַעֲרַ֣תsa.'a.RatH5591of the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068has gone outיָֽצְאָ֔הya.tze.'AhH3318with furyחֵמָה֙che.MahH2534,a whirlwindוְסַ֖עַר מִתְחוֹלֵ֑לve.Sa.'ar mit.cho.LelH2342 H5591swirling downיָחֽוּל׃ya.ChulH2342uponעַ֛ל'alH5921the headsרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218of the wickedרְשָׁעִ֖יםre.sha.'ImH7563.

20The angerאַף־'af-H639of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068will notלֹ֤אlo'H3808turn backיָשׁוּב֙ya.ShuvH7725untilעַד־'ad-H5704He has fully accomplishedעֲשֹׂת֥וֹ וְעַד־ הֲקִימ֖וֹa.so.To ve.'ad- ha.ki.MoH6213 H5704 H6965the purposesמְזִמּ֣וֹתme.zi.MotH4209of His heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820.In the daysהַיָּמִ֔יםhai.ya.MimH3117to comeבְּאַֽחֲרִית֙be.'a.cha.RitH319you will understandתִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּtit.Bo.nuH995thisclearlyבִּינָֽה׃bi.NahH998.

21I did notלֹא־lo'-H3808sendשָׁלַ֥חְתִּיsha.Lach.tiH7971אֶת־'et-H853these prophetsהַנְּבִאִ֖יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,yet theyוְהֵ֣םve.HemH1992have run with their messageרָ֑צוּRa.tzuH7323;I did notלֹא־lo'-H3808speakדִבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to themאֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.lei.HemH413,yet theyוְהֵ֥םve.HemH1992have prophesiedנִבָּֽאוּ׃ni.Ba.'uH5012.

22But ifוְאִֽם־ve.'im-H518they had stoodעָמְד֖וּ'a.me.DuH5975in My councilבְּסוֹדִ֑יbe.so.DiH5475,they would have proclaimedוְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּve.yash.Mi.'uH8085My wordsדְבָרַי֙de.va.RaiH1697אֶת־'et-H853to My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971and turned them backוִֽישִׁבוּם֙vi.shi.VumH7725from their evilהָרָ֔עha.Ra'H7451waysמִדַּרְכָּ֣םmi.dar.KamH1870andוּמֵרֹ֖עַu.me.Ro.a'H7455deedsמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ סMa.'a.lei.HemH4611.”

23“Am Iאָ֖נִי'A.niH589onlya Godהַאֱלֹהֵ֧יha.'e.lo.HeiH430nearbyמִקָּרֹ֛בmi.ka.RoH7138,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “and notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808a Godאֱלֹהֵ֖י'e.lo.HeiH430far awayמֵרָחֹֽק׃me.ra.ChokH7350?”
