25Then Davidדָּוִ֜דda.VidH1732toldוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559אֶל־'el-H413the messengerהַמַּלְאָ֗ךְha.mal.'AkhH4397, “Sayתֹאמַ֤רto.MarH559thisכֹּֽה־koh-H3541toאֶל־'el-H413Joabיוֹאָב֙yo.'AvH3097: ‘Do notאַל־'al-H408let thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088matterהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697upsetיֵרַ֤עye.Ra'H7489youבְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙be.'ei.Nei.khaH5869אֶת־'et-H853,forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the swordהֶחָ֑רֶבhe.Cha.revH2719devoursתֹּאכַ֣לto.KhalH398oneוְכָזֶ֖הve.kha.ZehH2088as well as anotherכָזֹ֥הkha.ZohH2090.Strengthenהַחֲזֵ֨קha.cha.ZekH2388your attackמִלְחַמְתְּךָ֧mil.cham.te.KhaH4421againstאֶל־'el-H413the cityהָעִ֛ירha.'IrH5892and demolish itוְהָרְסָ֖הּve.ha.re.SahH2040.’Encourage himוְחַזְּקֵֽהוּ׃ve.cha.ze.Ke.huH2388with these words.”

26When Uriah’sאֽוּרִיָּ֔ה'u.ri.YahH223wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802heardוַתִּשְׁמַע֙va.tish.Ma'H8085thatכִּי־ki-H3588her husbandאִישָׁ֑הּ'i.ShahH376אוּרִיָּ֣ה'u.ri.YahH223was deadמֵ֖תmetH4191,she mournedוַתִּסְפֹּ֖דva.tis.PodH5594forעַל־'al-H5921himבַּעְלָֽהּ׃ba'.LahH1167.

27And when the time of mourningהָאֵ֗בֶל וַיִּשְׁלַ֨חha.'E.vel vai.yish.LachH60 H7971was overוַיַּעֲבֹ֣רvai.ya.'a.VorH5674,Davidדָּוִ֜דda.VidH1732had her broughtוַיַּאַסְפָ֤הּvai.ya.'as.FahH622toאֶל־'el-H413his houseבֵּיתוֹ֙bei.ToH1004,and she becameוַתְּהִי־va.te.hi-H1961hiswifeלְאִשָּׁ֔הle.'i.ShahH802and boreוַתֵּ֥לֶדva.Te.ledH3205hima sonבֵּ֑ןBenH1121.But the thingהַדָּבָ֛רha.da.VarH1697thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Davidדָוִ֖דda.VidH1732had doneעָשָׂ֥ה'a.SahH6213was evilוַיֵּ֧רַעvai.Ye.ra'H7489in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.
