2“Evenיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282thoughאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834I lifted youהֲרִימֹתִ֙יךָ֙ha.ri.mo.Ti.khaH7311outמִן־min-H4480of the dustהֶ֣עָפָ֔רhe.'a.FarH6083and madeוָאֶתֶּנְךָ֣va.'e.ten.KhaH5414you rulerנָגִ֔ידna.GidH5057overעַ֖ל'alH5921My peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,you have walkedוַתֵּ֣לֶךְ׀va.Te.lekhH1980in the wayבְּדֶ֣רֶךְbe.De.rekhH1870of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֗םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379and have caused My peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478to sinוַֽתַּחֲטִא֙va.ta.cha.Ti'H2398אֶת־'et-H853and to provoke Me to angerלְהַכְעִיסֵ֖נִיle.hakh.'i.Se.niH3707by their sinsבְּחַטֹּאתָֽם׃be.cha.to.TamH2403.
3So nowהִנְנִ֥יhi.NiH2005I will consumeמַבְעִ֛ירmav.'IrH1197אַחֲרֵ֥י'a.cha.ReiH310Baashaבַעְשָׁ֖אva'.Sha'H1201וְאַחֲרֵ֣יve.'a.cha.ReiH310and his houseבֵית֑וֹvei.ToH1004,and I will makeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414אֶת־'et-H853your houseבֵּ֣יתְךָ֔bei.te.khaH1004like thatכְּבֵ֖יתke.VeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֥םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָֽט׃ne.VatH5028:
4Anyone belonging to Baashaלְבַעְשָׁא֙le.va'.Sha'H1201who diesהַמֵּ֤תha.MetH4191in the cityבָּעִ֔ירba.'IrH5892will be eatenיֹֽאכְל֖וּyo.khe.LuH398by dogsהַכְּלָבִ֑יםha.ke.la.VimH3611,and anyone who diesוְהַמֵּ֥תve.ha.MetH4191in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֔הba.sa.DehH7704will be eatenיֹאכְל֖וּyo.khe.LuH398by the birdsע֥וֹףofH5775of the airהַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064.”
5As for the restוְיֶ֨תֶרve.Ye.terH3499of the actsדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697of Baashaבַעְשָׁ֛אva'.Sha'H1201,along with his accomplishmentsוַאֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖הva.'a.Sher 'a.SahH834H6213and mightוּגְבֽוּרָת֑וֹu.ge.vu.ra.ToH1369, aretheyהֵ֣םhemH1992notהֲלֹא־ha.lo'-H3808writtenכְּתוּבִ֗יםke.tu.VimH3789inעַל־'al-H5921the Bookסֵ֛פֶרSe.ferH5612of the Chroniclesדִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖יםdiv.Rei hai.ya.MimH1697H3117of the Kingsלְמַלְכֵ֥יle.mal.KheiH4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478?
6And Baashaבַּעְשָׁא֙ba'.Sha'H1201restedוַיִּשְׁכַּ֤בvai.yish.KavH7901withעִם־'im-H5973his fathersאֲבֹתָ֔יו'a.vo.TavH1and was buriedוַיִּקָּבֵ֖רvai.yi.ka.VerH6912in Tirzahבְּתִרְצָ֑הbe.tir.TzahH8656,and his sonבְנ֖וֹve.NoH1121Elahאֵלָ֥ה'e.LahH425reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his placeתַּחְתָּֽיו׃tach.TavH8478.
7Moreoverוְגַ֡םve.GamH1571,the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068cameהָיָה֩ha.YahH1961throughבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027the prophetהַנָּבִ֗יאha.na.Vi'H5030Jehuיֵה֨וּאye.Hu'H3058sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Hananiחֲנָ֜נִיcha.Na.niH2607againstאֶל־'el-H413Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֨אba'.Sha'H1201andוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413his houseבֵּית֜וֹbei.ToH1004,because ofוְעַ֥לve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the evilהָרָעָ֣ה׀ha.ra.'AhH7451אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he had doneעָשָׂ֣ה׀'a.SahH6213in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,provoking Him to angerלְהַכְעִיסוֹ֙le.hakh.'i.SoH3707with the workבְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣הbe.ma.'a.SehH4639of his handsיָדָ֔יוya.DavH3027and becomingלִהְי֖וֹתlih.YotH1961like the houseכְּבֵ֣יתke.VeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֑םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379,and alsoוְעַ֥לve.'AlH5921becauseאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Baasha had struck downהִכָּ֖הhi.KahH5221the house of Jeroboamאֹתֽוֹ׃ פ'o.ToH853.
