27Then the old prophet instructedוַיְדַבֵּ֤ר אֶל־vay.da.Ber 'el-H1696 H413his sonsבָּנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔רba.Nav le.MorH1121 H559, “Saddleחִבְשׁוּ־chiv.shu-H2280אֶֽת־'et-H853the donkeyהַחֲמ֑וֹרha.cha.MorH2543for me.”So they saddledוַֽיַּחֲבֹֽשׁוּ׃Vai.ya.cha.Vo.shuH2280it,

28and he wentוַיֵּ֗לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980and foundוַיִּמְצָ֤אvai.yim.Tza'H4672אֶת־'et-H853the bodyנִבְלָתוֹ֙niv.la.ToH5038lyingמֻשְׁלֶ֣כֶתmush.Le.khetH7993in the roadבַּדֶּ֔רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870,with the donkeyוַֽחֲמוֹר֙va.cha.mOrH2543and the lionוְהָ֣אַרְיֵ֔הve.Ha.'ar.YehH738standingעֹמְדִ֖ים'o.me.DimH5975besideאֵ֣צֶל'E.tzelH681itהַנְּבֵלָ֑הha.ne.ve.LahH5038.The lionהָֽאַרְיֵה֙ha.'ar.YehH738אֶת־'et-H853had notלֹֽא־lo'-H3808eatenאָכַ֤ל'a.KhalH398the bodyהַנְּבֵלָ֔ה וְלֹ֥אha.ne.ve.Lah ve.Lo'H5038 H3808or mauledשָׁבַ֖רsha.VarH7665אֶֽת־'et-H853the donkeyהַחֲמֽוֹר׃ha.cha.MorH2543.

29So the old prophetהַנָּבִ֜יאha.na.Vi'H5030אֶת־'et-H853lifted upוַיִּשָּׂ֨אvai.yi.Sa'H5375the bodyנִבְלַ֧תniv.LatH5038of the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֛יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,laidוַיַּנִּחֵ֥הוּvai.ya.ni.Che.huH5117it onאֶֽל־'el-H413the donkeyהַחֲמ֖וֹרha.cha.MorH2543,and brought it backוַיְשִׁיבֵ֑הוּvay.shi.Ve.huH7725to his ownהַזָּקֵ֔ןha.za.KenH2205הַנָּבִ֣יאha.na.Vi'H5030וַיָּבֹ֗אvai.ya.Vo'H935אֶל־'el-H413cityעִיר֙'irH5892to mourn for himלִסְפֹּ֖דlis.PodH5594and bury himוּלְקָבְרֽוֹ׃u.le.ka.ve.RoH6912.

30Then he laidוַיַּנַּ֥חvai.ya.NachH5117אֶת־'et-H853the bodyנִבְלָת֖וֹniv.la.ToH5038in his own tombבְּקִבְר֑וֹbe.kiv.RoH6913,and they lamentedוַיִּסְפְּד֥וּvai.yis.pe.DuH5594over himעָלָ֖יו'a.LavH5921, “Ohה֥וֹיHoH1945,my brotherאָחִֽי׃'a.ChiH251!”

31וַיְהִי֮vay.HiH1961Afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310he had buried himקָבְר֣וֹka.ve.RoH6912אֹתוֹ֒'o.ToH853, the prophetsaidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413his sonsבָּנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔רba.Nav le.MorH1121 H559, “When I dieH4191,you must buryוּקְבַרְתֶּ֣םu.ke.var.TemH6912meאֹתִ֔י'o.TiH853in the tombבַּקֶּ֕בֶרba.Ke.verH6913whereאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834the manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430is buriedקָב֣וּרka.VurH6912.Layהַנִּ֖יחוּha.Ni.chuH5117my bonesעַצְמֹתָ֔יו'atz.mo.TavH6106אֶת־'et-H853besideאֵ֚צֶל'E.tzelH681his bonesעַצְמֹתָֽי׃'atz.mo.TaiH6106,

32forכִּי֩kiH3588the messageהַדָּבָ֗רha.da.VarH1697thatאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834he cried outקָרָא֙ka.Ra'H7121by the wordבִּדְבַ֣רbid.VarH1697of the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068againstעַל־'al-H5921the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834in BethelH1008and againstוְעַל֙ve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the shrinesבָּתֵּ֣יba.TeiH1004on the high placesהַבָּמ֔וֹתha.ba.MotH1116אֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֥יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Samariaשֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃ פsho.me.RonH8111will surely come to passH1961.”
