16Then Kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִ֔ידda.VidH1732went inוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935,satוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whoמִֽי־mi-H4310am Iאֲנִ֞י'a.NiH589,O LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430,and whatוּמִ֣יu.MiH4310is my houseבֵיתִ֔יvei.TiH1004,thatכִּ֥יkiH3588You have brought meהֲבִיאֹתַ֖נִיha.vi.'o.Ta.niH935thisעַד־'ad-H5704farהֲלֹֽם׃ha.LomH1988?
17And as if thisזֹ֤אתzotH2063was a small thingוַתִּקְטַ֨ןva.tik.TanH6994in Your eyesבְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙be.'ei.Nei.khaH5869,O Godאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430,You have spokenוַתְּדַבֵּ֥רva.te.da.BerH1696aboutעַל־'al-H5921the futureלְמֵרָח֑וֹקle.me.ra.ChokH7350of the houseבֵּֽית־beit-H1004of Your servantעַבְדְּךָ֖'av.de.KhaH5650and have regarded meוּרְאִיתַ֗נִיu.re.'i.Ta.niH7200as a manכְּת֧וֹר הָאָדָ֛םke.Tor ha.'a.DamH120H8448of great distinctionהַֽמַּעֲלָ֖הha.ma.'a.LahH4609,O LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהִֽים׃'E.lo.HimH430.
18Whatמַה־mah-H4100moreיּוֹסִ֨יף ע֥וֹדyo.Sif odH3254H5750can Davidדָּוִ֛ידda.VidH1732say to Youאֵלֶ֖יךָ'e.Lei.khaH413for honoringלְכָב֣וֹדle.kha.VodH3519אֶת־'et-H853Your servantעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ'av.De.khaH5650?For Youוְאַתָּ֖הve.'a.TahH859אֶֽת־'et-H853knowיָדָֽעְתָּ׃ya.Da.'e.taH3045Your servantעַבְדְּךָ֥'av.de.KhaH5650,
19O LORDיְהוָ֕הYah.wehH3068.For the sakeבַּעֲב֤וּרba.'a.VurH5668of Your servantעַבְדְּךָ֙'av.de.KhaH5650and according to Your own heartוּֽכְלִבְּךָ֔u.khe.li.be.KhaH3820,You have accomplishedעָשִׂ֕יתָ'a.Si.taH6213אֵ֥ת'etH853thisכָּל־ הַזֹּ֑אתkol- ha.ZotH3605H2063great thingהַגְּדוּלָּ֖הha.ge.du.LahH1420and made knownלְהֹדִ֖יעַle.ho.Di.a'H3045אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605these great promisesהַגְּדֻלּֽוֹת׃ha.ge.du.LotH1420.
20O LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068, there isnoneאֵ֣ין'einH369like Youכָּמ֔וֹךָka.Mo.khaH3644,and there is noוְאֵ֥יןve.'EinH369Godאֱלֹהִ֖ים'E.lo.HimH430but Youזוּלָתֶ֑ךָzu.la.Te.khaH2108,according to everythingבְּכֹ֥לbe.KholH3605אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834we have heardשָׁמַ֖עְנוּsha.Ma'.nuH8085with our own earsבְּאָזְנֵֽינוּ׃be.'a.ze.Nei.nuH241.

25Forכִּ֣י׀kiH3588Youאַתָּ֣ה'a.TahH859,my Godאֱלֹהַ֗י'e.lo.HaiH430,have revealedגָּלִ֙יתָ֙ga.Li.taH1540אֶת־'et-H853אֹ֣זֶן'O.zenH241to Your servantעַבְדְּךָ֔'av.de.KhaH5650that You will buildלִבְנ֥וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבָּ֑יִתBa.yitH1004for himעַל־'al-H5921.Thereforeכֵּן֙kenH3651Your servantעַבְדְּךָ֔'av.de.KhaH5650has found the courageמָצָ֣אma.Tza'H4672to prayלְהִתְפַּלֵּ֖לle.hit.pa.LelH6419before Youלְפָנֶֽיךָ׃le.fa.Nei.khaH6440.
