Zechariah 4
American Standard Version
1And the angelH4397 that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a manH376 that is wakened out of his sleepH8142. 2And he saidH559 unto me, What seest thou? And I saidH559, I have seenH7200, and, behold, a candlestick all of goldH2091, with its bowlH1543 upon the topH7218 of it, and its sevenH7651 lampsH5216 thereon; there are sevenH7651 pipes to each of the lampsH5216, which are upon the topH7218 thereof; 3and twoH8147 olive-trees by it, oneH259 upon the rightH3225 sideH3225 of the bowlH1543, and the other upon the left sideH3225 thereof. 4And I answered and spake to the angelH4397 that talked with me, sayingH559, What are these, my lordH113? 5Then the angelH4397 that talked with me answered and saidH559 unto me, Knowest thou not what these are? And I saidH559, No, my lordH113. 6Then he answered and spake unto me, sayingH559, This is the wordH1697 of Jehovah unto ZerubbabelH2216, sayingH559, Not by might, nor by powerH3581, but by my SpiritH7307, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635. 7Who art thou, O greatH1419 mountainH2022? before ZerubbabelH2216 thou shalt become a plainH4334; and he shall bringH3318 forthH3318 the top stoneH68 with shoutings of GraceH2580, graceH2580, unto it. 8Moreover the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto me, sayingH559, 9The handsH3027 of ZerubbabelH2216 have laid the foundation of this houseH1004; his handsH3027 shall also finishH1214 it; and thou shalt knowH3045 that Jehovah of hostsH6635 hath sentH7971 me unto you. 10For who hath despisedH936 the dayH3117 of smallH6996 thingsH428? for these sevenH7651 shall rejoiceH8055, and shall seeH7200 the plummet in the handH3027 of ZerubbabelH2216; these are the eyesH5869 of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earthH776.
11Then answered I, and saidH559 unto him, What are these twoH8147 olive-trees upon the rightH3225 sideH3225 of the candlestick and upon the left sideH3225 thereof? 12And I answered the secondH8145 timeH8145, and saidH559 unto him, What are these twoH8147 olive-branches, which are beside the twoH8147 golden spouts, that empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13And he answered me and saidH559, Knowest thou not what these are? And I saidH559, No, my lordH113. 14Then saidH559 he, These are the twoH8147 anointed ones, that standH5975 by the LordH113 of the whole earthH776.
