Zechariah 5
American Standard Version
1Then again I liftedH5375 up mine eyesH5869, and sawH7200, and, behold, a flying roll. 2And he saidH559 unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I seeH7200 a flying roll; the lengthH753 thereof is twentyH6242 cubitsH520, and the breadthH7341 thereof tenH6235 cubitsH520. 3Then saidH559 he unto me, This is the curseH423 that goeth forthH3318 over the faceH6440 of the whole landH776: for every oneH2088 that stealeth shall be cut off on the oneH2088 side according to it; and every oneH2088 that sweareth shall be cut off on the other side according to it. 4I will cause it to goH3318 forthH3318, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, and it shall enter into the houseH1004 of the thiefH1590, and into the houseH1004 of him that sweareth falsely by my nameH8034; and it shall abide in the midstH8432 of his houseH1004, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stonesH68 thereof.
5Then the angelH4397 that talked with me wentH3318 forthH3318, and saidH559 unto me, LiftH5375 up now thine eyesH5869, and seeH7200 what is this that goeth forthH3318. 6And I saidH559, What is it? And he saidH559, This is the ephahH374 that goeth forthH3318. He saidH559 moreover, This is their appearanceH5869 in all the landH776 7(and, behold, there was liftedH5375 up a talentH3603 of leadH5777); and this is a womanH802 sittingH3427 in the midstH8432 of the ephahH374. 8And he saidH559, This is WickednessH7564: and he castH7993 her downH7993 into the midstH8432 of the ephahH374; and he castH7993 the weightH68 of leadH5777 upon the mouthH6310 thereof. 9Then liftedH5375 I up mine eyesH5869, and sawH7200, and, behold, there cameH3318 forthH3318 twoH8147 womenH802, and the windH7307 was in their wingsH3671; now they had wingsH3671 like the wingsH3671 of a storkH2624; and they liftedH5375 up the ephahH374 between earthH776 and heavenH8064. 10Then saidH559 I to the angelH4397 that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephahH374? 11And he saidH559 unto me, To buildH1129 her a houseH1004 in the landH776 of ShinarH8152: and when it is preparedH3559, she shall be set there in her own place.
