Zechariah 4
Revised Version 1895
1And the angelH4397 that talkedH1696 with meH7725 cameH7725 againH7725, and waked meH7725, as a manH376 that is wakened outH376 of his sleepH8142. 2And he saidH559 unto meH413, WhatH4100 seest thou? And I saidH559, I have seenH7200, and beholdH2009, a candlestick allH3605 of goldH2091, with itsH3605 bowlH1543 uponH5921 the topH7218 of it, and itsH3605 sevenH7651 lampsH5216 thereonH5921; there are sevenH7651 pipesH4166 to eachH3605 of the lampsH5216, whichH834 are uponH5921 the topH7218 thereof: 3and twoH8147 oliveH2132 treesH2132 by it, one uponH5921 the rightH3225 sideH3225 of the bowlH1543, and the otherH259 uponH5921 the leftH8040 sideH3225 thereof. 4And I answeredH559 and spake to the angelH4397 that talkedH1696 with meH413, sayingH559, WhatH4100 are theseH428, my lordH113? 5Then the angelH4397 that talkedH1696 with meH413 answeredH559 and saidH559 unto meH413, Knowest thou notH3808 whatH4100 theseH428 be? And I saidH559, NoH3808, my lordH113. 6Then he answeredH559 and spake unto meH413, sayingH559, This is the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 unto ZerubbabelH2216, sayingH559, NotH3808 by might, norH3808 by powerH3581, but by my spiritH7307, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635. 7Who art thou, O greatH1419 mountainH2022? beforeH6440 ZerubbabelH2216 thou shalt becomeH3318 a plainH4334: and he shall bringH3318 forthH3318 the headH6440 stoneH68 with shoutingsH8663 of GraceH2580, graceH2580, unto it. 8MoreoverH1961 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 unto meH413, sayingH559, 9The handsH3027 of ZerubbabelH2216 have laidH3245 the foundationH3245 of this houseH1004; his handsH3027 shall also finishH1214 it; and thou shalt knowH3045 that the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 hath sentH7971 meH413 unto youH3588. 10For who hath despisedH936 the dayH3117 of smallH6996 things? for they shall rejoiceH8055, and shall seeH7200 the plummet in the handH3027 of ZerubbabelH2216, evenH3588 theseH428 sevenH7651, whichH4310 are the eyesH5869 of the LORDH3068; they run to and fro throughH3027 the wholeH3605 earthH776. 11Then answeredH559 I, and saidH559 unto him, WhatH4100 are theseH428 twoH8147 oliveH2132 treesH2132 uponH5921 the rightH3225 sideH3225 of the candlestick and uponH5921 the leftH8040 sideH3225 thereof? 12And I answeredH559 the secondH8145 time, and saidH559 unto him, WhatH4100 be theseH834 twoH8147 oliveH2132 branchesH7641, whichH834 are besideH5921 the twoH8147 goldenH2091 spouts, that empty the goldenH2091 oilH7324 outH4100 of themselvesH5921? 13And he answeredH559 meH413 and saidH559, Knowest thou notH3808 whatH4100 theseH428 be? And I saidH559, NoH3808, my lordH113. 14Then saidH559 he, TheseH428 are the twoH8147 sonsH1121 of oilH3323, that standH5975 by the LordH113 of the wholeH3605 earthH776.
