Malachi 3:13-18
13Your wordsH1697 have been stout against me, saith Jehovah. Yet ye sayH559, What have we spokenH1696 against thee? 14Ye have saidH559, It is vain to serveH5647 GodH430; and what profitH1215 is it that we have keptH8104 his chargeH4931, and that we have walkedH1980 mournfully before Jehovah of hostsH6635? 15and nowH6258 we callH833 the proud happy; yea, they that work wickednessH7564 are builtH1129 up; yea, they tempt GodH430, and escapeH4422.
16ThenH227 they that fearedH3372 Jehovah spake oneH376 with another; and Jehovah hearkened, and heardH8085, and a bookH5612 of remembranceH2146 was writtenH3789 before him, for them that fearedH3372 Jehovah, and that thought upon his nameH8034. 17And they shall beH1961 mine, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, even mine own possessionH5459, in the dayH3117 that I makeH6213; and I will spareH2550 them, as a manH376 spareth his own sonH1121 that serveth him. 18Then shall ye returnH7725 and discern between the righteousH6662 and the wickedH7563, between him that serveth GodH430 and him that serveth him not.
