Malachi 2:10-16
10Have we not all oneH259 fatherH1? hath not oneH259 GodH410 createdH1254 us? whyH4069 do we dealH898 treacherouslyH898 every manH376 against his brotherH251, profaningH2490 the covenantH1285 of our fathersH1? 11JudahH3063 hath dealtH898 treacherouslyH898, and an abominationH8441 is committed in IsraelH3478 and in JerusalemH3389; for JudahH3063 hath profanedH2490 the holinessH6944 of Jehovah which he loveth, and hath marriedH1166 the daughterH1323 of a foreign godH410. 12Jehovah will cutH3772 off, to the manH376 that doeth this, him that waketh and him that answereth, out of the tentsH168 of JacobH3290, and him that offereth an offeringH4503 unto Jehovah of hostsH6635. 13And this againH5750 ye do: ye coverH3680 the altarH4196 of Jehovah with tearsH1832, with weepingH1065, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offeringH4503 any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your handH3027. 14Yet ye sayH559, Wherefore? Because Jehovah hath been witness between thee and the wifeH802 of thy youthH5271, against whom thou hast dealtH898 treacherouslyH898, though she is thy companion, and the wifeH802 of thy covenantH1285. 15And did he not makeH6213 oneH259, although he had the residue of the SpiritH7307? And wherefore oneH259? He soughtH1245 a godly seedH2233. Therefore takeH8104 heedH8104 to your spiritH7307, and let none dealH898 treacherouslyH898 against the wifeH802 of his youthH5271. 16For I hateH8130 putting awayH7971, saith Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, and him that covereth his garment with violenceH2555, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635: therefore takeH8104 heedH8104 to your spiritH7307, that ye dealH898 not treacherouslyH898.
