Revised Version 1895
Malachi 2:10-16
10Have weH3605 notH3808 allH3605 one fatherH1? hath notH3808 one GodH410 createdH1254 us? whyH4069 doH3605 weH3605 dealH898 treacherouslyH898 everyH3605 manH376 againstH376 his brotherH251, profaningH2490 the covenantH1285 of our fathersH1?
11JudahH3063 hath dealtH898 treacherouslyH898, and an abominationH8441 is committedH6213 in IsraelH3478 and in JerusalemH3389; for JudahH3063 hath profanedH2490 the holinessH6944 of the LORDH3068 whichH834 he loveth, and hath marriedH1166 the daughterH1323 of a strangeH5236 godH410.
12The LORDH3068 will cutH3772 offH3772 to the manH376 that doeth this him that waketh and him that answereth, outH376 of the tentsH168 of JacobH3290, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635.
13And this againH5750 ye doH6213: ye coverH3680 the altarH4196 of the LORDH3068 with tearsH1832, with weepingH1065, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth notH369 the offering anyH5750 moreH5750, neitherH369 receiveth it with goodH7522 will at your handH3027.
14Yet ye sayH559, Wherefore? BecauseH3588 the LORDH3068 hath been witness betweenH996 thee and the wifeH802 of thy youthH5271, againstH5921 whomH834 thou hast dealtH898 treacherouslyH898, thoughH3588 sheH1931 is thy companionH2278, and the wifeH802 of thy covenantH1285.
15And didH6213 he notH3808 makeH6213 one, althoughH3808 he had the residue of the spiritH7307? And wherefore one? He soughtH1245 a godlyH430 seedH2233. Therefore takeH8104 heedH8104 to your spiritH7307, and letH408 noneH3808 dealH898 treacherouslyH898 againstH8104 the wifeH802 of his youthH5271.
16For I hateH8130 puttingH7971 awayH7971, saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, and him that covereth his garmentH3830 with violenceH2555, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: therefore takeH8104 heedH8104 to your spiritH7307, that ye dealH898 notH3808 treacherouslyH898.
