24Then I setH914 apartH914 twelve of the chiefsH8269 of the priestsH3548, even SherebiahH8274, HashabiahH2811, and tenH6235 of their brethren with them, 25and weighedH8254 unto them the silverH3701, and the goldH2091, and the vesselsH3627, even the offering for the houseH1004 of our GodH430, which the kingH4428, and his counsellors, and his princesH8269, and all IsraelH3478 there present, had offeredH7311: 26I weighedH8254 into their handH3027 sixH8337 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 talentsH3603 of silverH3701, and silverH3701 vesselsH3627 a hundredH3967 talentsH3603; of goldH2091 a hundredH3967 talentsH3603; 27and twentyH6242 bowlsH3713 of goldH2091, of a thousandH505 daricsH150; and twoH8147 vesselsH3627 of fine bright brass, preciousH2532 as goldH2091. 28And I saidH559 unto them, Ye are holyH6944 unto Jehovah, and the vesselsH3627 are holyH6944; and the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 are a freewill-offering unto Jehovah, the GodH430 of your fathersH1. 29WatchH8104 ye, and keepH8104 them, until ye weighH8254 them before the chiefsH8269 of the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881, and the princesH8269 of the fathers’H1 housesH1004 of IsraelH3478, at JerusalemH3389, in the chambers of the houseH1004 of Jehovah. 30So the priestsH3548 and the LevitesH3881 received the weightH4948 of the silverH3701 and the goldH2091, and the vesselsH3627, to bringH935 them to JerusalemH3389 unto the houseH1004 of our GodH430.

31Then we departedH5265 from the riverH5104 AhavaH163 on the twelfth day of the firstH7223 monthH2320, to go unto JerusalemH3389: and the handH3027 of our GodH430 wasH1961 upon us, and he deliveredH5337 us from the handH3027 of the enemyH341 and the lier-in-wait by the wayH1870. 32And we cameH935 to JerusalemH3389, and abode there threeH7969 daysH3117. 33And on the fourthH7243 dayH3117 the silverH3701 and the goldH2091 and the vesselsH3627 were weighedH8254 in the houseH1004 of our GodH430 into the handH3027 of MeremothH4822 the sonH1121 of UriahH223 the priestH3548 (and with him was EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of PhinehasH6372; and with them was JozabadH3107 the sonH1121 of JeshuaH3442, and NoadiahH5129 the sonH1121 of BinnuiH1131, the LevitesH3881)— 34the whole by numberH4557 and by weightH4948: and all the weightH4948 was writtenH3789 at that timeH6256.

35The children of the captivityH7628, that were comeH935 out of exileH1473, offered burnt-offerings unto the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, twelve bullocks for all IsraelH3478, ninetyH8673 and sixH8337 ramsH352, seventyH7657 and sevenH7651 lambsH3532, twelve he-goats for a sin-offering: all this was a burnt-offering unto Jehovah. 36And they delivered the king’sH4428 commissions unto the king’sH4428 satrapsH323, and to the governorsH6346 beyond the RiverH5104: and they furthered the peopleH5971 and the houseH1004 of GodH430.
