4For thusH3541 saith Jehovah unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, SeekH1875 ye me, and ye shall liveH2421; 5but seekH1875 not Beth-el, nor enter into GilgalH1537, and passH5674 not to Beer-sheba: for GilgalH1537 shall surely goH935 into captivity, and Beth-el shall comeH935 to nought. 6SeekH1875 Jehovah, and ye shall liveH2421; lestH6435 he break out like fireH784 in the houseH1004 of JosephH3130, and it devourH398, and there be none to quenchH3518 it in Beth-el. 7Ye who turnH2015 justiceH4941 to wormwoodH3939, and cast down righteousnessH6666 to the earthH776, 8seek him that maketh the PleiadesH3598 and OrionH3685, and turneth the shadow of death into the morningH1242, and maketh the dayH3117 darkH2821 with nightH3915; that calleth for the watersH4325 of the seaH3220, and poureth them out upon the faceH6440 of the earthH776 (Jehovah is his nameH8034); 9that bringeth sudden destructionH7701 upon the strongH5794, so that destructionH7701 cometh upon the fortressH4013.
