2ThenNathanנָתָן֙na.TanH5416saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toDavidדָּוִ֔ידda.VidH1732,Doעֲשֵׂ֑ה'a.SehH6213all that is in thyheartבִּֽלְבָבְךָ֖bil.va.ve.KhaH3824; forGodהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430is with thee.

3And it came to pass the samenightבַּלַּ֣יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915, that thewordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697ofGodאֱלֹהִ֔ים'E.lo.HimH430came toNathanנָתָ֖ןna.TanH5416,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

8And I have been with thee wherever thou hastwalkedהָלַ֔כְתָּha.Lakh.taH1980, and have cutoffוָאַכְרִ֥יתva.'akh.RitH3772all thyenemiesאוֹיְבֶ֖יךָ'oy.Vei.khaH341frombeforeמִפָּנֶ֑יךָmi.pa.Nei.khaH6440thee, and havemadeוְעָשִׂ֤יתִֽיve.'a.Si.tiH6213thee anameשֵׁ֔םShemH8034like thenameכְּשֵׁ֥םke.ShemH8034of the greatmenהַגְּדוֹלִ֖יםha.ge.do.LimH1419that are in theearthבָּאָֽרֶץ׃ba.'A.retzH776.

9Also I willordainוְשַׂמְתִּ֣יve.sam.TiH7760aplaceמָ֠קוֹםMa.komH4725for mypeopleלְעַמִּ֨יle.'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֤לYis.ra.'ElH3478, and willplantוּנְטַעְתִּ֙יהוּ֙u.ne.ta'.Ti.huH5193them, and they shalldwellוְשָׁכַ֣ןve.sha.KhanH7931in their place, and shall bemovedיִרְגַּ֖זyir.GazH7264no more; neither shall thechildrenבְנֵי־ve.nei-H1121ofwickednessעַוְלָה֙'av.LahH5766wasteלְבַלֹּת֔וֹle.va.lo.ToH1086them anymoreיוֹסִ֤יפוּyo.Si.fuH3254, as at thebeginningבָּרִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ba.ri.sho.NahH7223,

11And it shall come to pass, when thydaysיָמֶ֙יךָ֙ya.Mei.khaH3117shall beendedמָלְא֤וּmal.'UH4390that thou mustgoH3212to be with thyfathersאֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ'a.vo.Tei.khaH1, that I will raiseupוַהֲקִֽימוֹתִ֤יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965thyseedזַרְעֲךָ֙zar.'a.KhaH2233afterאַחֲרֶ֔יךָ'a.cha.Rei.khaH310thee, who shall be of thysonsמִבָּנֶ֑יךָmi.ba.Nei.khaH1121; and I willestablishוַהֲכִינוֹתִ֖יva.ha.khi.no.TiH3559hiskingdomמַלְכוּתֽוֹ׃mal.khu.ToH4438.

12He shallbuildיִבְנֶה־yiv.neh-H1129me anhouseבָּ֑יִתBa.yitH1004, and I willestablishוְכֹנַנְתִּ֥יve.kho.nan.TiH3559histhroneכִּסְא֖וֹkis.'OH3678forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.

13I will be hisfatherלְאָ֔בle.'AvH1, and he shall be mysonלְבֵ֑ןle.VenH1121: and I will nottakeH5493mymercyוְחַסְדִּי֙ve.chas.DiH2617awayH5493from him, as ItookH5493it from him that wasbeforeלְפָנֶֽיךָ׃le.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee:

14But I willsettleוְהַֽעֲמַדְתִּ֛יהוּve.ha.'a.mad.Ti.huH5975him in myhouseבְּבֵיתִ֥יbe.vei.TiH1004and in mykingdomוּבְמַלְכוּתִ֖יu.ve.mal.khu.TiH4438foreverהָעוֹלָ֑םha.'o.LamH5769: and histhroneוְכִסְא֕וֹve.khis.'OH3678shall beestablishedנָכ֖וֹןna.KhonH3559forH5704evermoreעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.

15According to all thesewordsהַדְּבָרִ֣יםha.de.va.RimH1697, and according to all thisvisionהֶחָז֣וֹןhe.cha.ZonH2377, so didNathanנָתָ֖ןna.TanH5416speakדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696toDavidדָּוִֽיד׃ פda.VidH1732.
