1And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, afterH310 the deathH4191 of the twoH8147 sonsH1121 of AaronH175, when they drewH7126 nearH7126 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, and diedH4191; 2and the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, SpeakH1696 unto AaronH175 thy brotherH251, that he comeH935 notH3808 at allH3605 timesH6256 intoH413 the holyH6944 placeH6944 withinH5921 the veilH6532, beforeH6440 the mercy-seat whichH834 is uponH5921 the arkH727; that he dieH4191 notH3808: for I will appearH7200 in the cloudH6051 uponH5921 the mercy-seat. 3Herewith shall AaronH175 comeH935 intoH413 the holyH6944 placeH6944: with a youngH1121 bullock for a sinH2403 offering, and a ramH352 for a burntH5930 offering. 4He shall putH3847 on the holyH6944 linenH906 coatH3801, and he shall have the linenH906 breechesH4370 uponH5921 his fleshH1320, and shall be girdedH2296 with the linenH906 girdle, and with the linenH906 mitre shall he be attiredH6801: they are the holyH6944 garmentsH899; and he shall batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and putH3847 them on. 5And he shall takeH3947 of the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 twoH8147 he-goats for a sinH2403 offering, and one ramH352 for a burntH5930 offering. 6And AaronH175 shall presentH7126 the bullock of the sinH2403 offering, whichH834 is for himselfH1157, and make atonementH3722 for himselfH1157, and for his houseH1004. 7And he shall takeH3947 the twoH8147 goatsH8163, and setH5975 them beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 at the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 8And AaronH175 shall castH5414 lotsH1486 uponH5921 the twoH8147 goatsH8163; one lotH1486 for the LORDH3068, and the otherH259 lotH1486 for Azazel. 9And AaronH175 shall presentH7126 the goatH8163 uponH5921 whichH834 the lotH1486 fellH5927 for the LORDH3068, and offerH7126 him for a sinH2403 offering. 10But the goatH8163, on whichH834 the lotH1486 fellH5927 for Azazel, shall be setH5975 aliveH2416 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, to makeH5975 atonementH3722 for him, to sendH7971 him awayH7971 for Azazel intoH5921 the wildernessH4057. 11And AaronH175 shall presentH7126 the bullock of the sinH2403 offering, whichH834 is for himselfH1157, and shall make atonementH3722 for himselfH1157, and for his houseH1004, and shall killH7819 the bullock of the sinH2403 offering whichH834 is for himselfH1157: 12and he shall takeH3947 a censerH4289 fullH4393 of coalsH1513 of fireH784 from offH5921 the altarH4196 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, and his handsH2651 fullH4393 of sweetH5561 incenseH7004 beaten small, and bringH935 it withinH5921 the veilH6532: 13and he shall putH5414 the incenseH7004 uponH5921 the fireH784 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, that the cloudH6051 of the incenseH7004 may coverH3680 the mercy-seat that is uponH5921 the testimonyH5715, that he dieH4191 notH3808: 14and he shall takeH3947 of the bloodH1818 of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his fingerH676 uponH5921 the mercy-seat on the eastH6924; and beforeH6440 the mercy-seat shall he sprinkle of the bloodH1818 with his fingerH676 sevenH7651 timesH6471. 15Then shall he killH7819 the goatH8163 of the sinH2403 offering, that is for the peopleH5971, and bringH935 his bloodH1818 withinH5921 the veilH6532, and doH6213 with his bloodH1818 as he didH6213 with the bloodH1818 of the bullock, and sprinkle it uponH5921 the mercy-seat, and beforeH6440 the mercy-seat: 16and he shall makeH6213 atonementH3722 for the holyH6944 placeH6944, becauseH5921 of the uncleannesses of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and becauseH5921 of their transgressionsH6588, evenH3651 allH3605 their sinsH2403: and soH3651 shall he doH6213 for the tentH168 of meetingH4150, that dwelleth with them in the midstH8432 of their uncleannesses. 17And there shall be noH3808 manH120 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150 when he goeth in to make atonementH3722 in the holyH6944 placeH6944, untilH5704 he comeH935 outH3318, and have madeH1961 atonementH3722 for himselfH3808, and for his householdH1004, and for allH3605 the assemblyH6951 of IsraelH3478. 18And he shall goH3318 outH3318 unto the altarH4196 that is beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, and makeH5414 atonementH3722 for it; and shall takeH3947 of the bloodH1818 of the bullock, and of the bloodH1818 of the goatH8163, and putH5414 it uponH5921 the hornsH7161 of the altarH4196 roundH5439 aboutH5439. 19And he shall sprinkle of the bloodH1818 uponH5921 it with his fingerH676 sevenH7651 timesH6471, and cleanseH2891 it, and hallow it from the uncleannesses of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478. 20And when he hath madeH7126 an endH3615 of atoning for the holyH6944 placeH6944, and the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and the altarH4196, he shall presentH7126 the liveH2416 goatH8163: 21and AaronH175 shall layH5564 bothH8147 his handsH3027 uponH5921 the headH7218 of the liveH2416 goatH8163, and confessH3034 over him allH3605 the iniquitiesH5771 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and allH3605 their transgressionsH6588, evenH853 allH3605 their sinsH2403; and he shall putH5414 them uponH5921 the headH7218 of the goatH8163, and shall sendH7971 him awayH7971 by the handH3027 of a manH376 that is in readinessH6261 intoH5921 the wildernessH4057: 22and the goatH8163 shall bearH5375 uponH5921 him allH3605 their iniquitiesH5771 unto a solitaryH1509 landH776: and he shall letH7971 goH7971 the goatH8163 in the wildernessH4057. 23And AaronH175 shall comeH935 intoH413 the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and shall putH3847 offH6584 the linenH906 garmentsH899, whichH834 he putH3847 on when he wentH935 intoH413 the holyH6944 placeH6944, and shall leaveH3240 them there: 24and he shall batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325 in a holyH6918 placeH4725, and putH3847 on his garmentsH899, and comeH3318 forthH3318, and offerH6213 his burntH5930 offering and the burntH5930 offering of the peopleH5971, and makeH6213 atonementH3722 for himselfH4325 and for the peopleH5971. 25And the fatH2459 of the sinH2403 offering shall he burnH6999 upon the altarH4196. 26And he that letteth goH935 the goatH8163 for Azazel shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and afterwardH310 he shall comeH935 intoH413 the campH4264. 27And the bullock of the sinH2403 offering, and the goatH8163 of the sinH2403 offering, whoseH834 bloodH1818 was broughtH935 in to make atonementH3722 in the holyH6944 placeH6944, shall be carriedH935 forthH3318 without the campH4264; and they shall burnH8313 in the fireH784 their skinsH5785, and their fleshH1320, and their dungH6569. 28And he that burneth them shall washH3526 his clothesH899, and batheH7364 his fleshH1320 in waterH4325, and afterwardH310 he shall comeH935 intoH413 the campH4264. 29And it shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 unto youH3605: in the seventhH7637 monthH2320, on the tenthH6218 dayH2320 of the monthH2320, ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315, and shall doH6213 noH3808 manner of workH4399, the homeborn, or the strangerH1616 that sojourneth among youH3605: 30for on this dayH3117 shall atonementH3722 be madeH3605 for youH3588, to cleanseH2891 youH3588; from allH3605 your sinsH2403 shall ye be cleanH2891 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. 31It is a sabbathH7676 of solemnH7677 restH7677 unto youH853, and ye shall afflictH6031 your soulsH5315; it is a statuteH2708 for everH5769. 32And the priestH3548, who shall be anointedH4886 and who shall be consecratedH6944 to be priestH3548 in his father’sH1 steadH8478, shall makeH3027 the atonementH3722, and shall putH3847 on the linenH906 garmentsH899, evenH853 the holyH6944 garmentsH899: 33and he shall make atonementH3722 for the holyH6944 sanctuaryH4720, and he shall make atonementH3722 for the tentH168 of meetingH4150 and for the altarH4196; and he shall make atonementH3722 for the priestsH3548 and for allH3605 the peopleH5971 of the assemblyH6951. 34And this shall be an everlastingH5769 statuteH2708 unto youH834, to makeH6213 atonementH3722 for the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 becauseH5921 of allH3605 their sinsH2403 onceH259 in the yearH8141. And he didH6213 as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
