Leviticus 24
Revised Version 1895
1And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2CommandH6680 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they bringH5927 unto thee pureH2134 oliveH2132 oilH8081 beatenH3795 for the lightH3974, to cause a lampH5216 to burnH5927 continuallyH8548. 3Without the veilH6532 of the testimonyH5715, in the tentH168 of meetingH4150, shall AaronH175 orderH2708 it from eveningH6153 to morningH1242 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 continuallyH8548: it shall be a statuteH2708 for everH5769 throughoutH1755 your generationsH1755. 4He shall order the lampsH5216 uponH5921 the pureH2889 candlestick beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 continuallyH8548. 5And thou shalt takeH3947 fineH5560 flourH5560, and bakeH644 twelveH6240 cakesH2471 thereof: twoH8147 tenthH6241 parts of an ephah shall be in one cakeH2471. 6And thou shalt setH7760 them in twoH8147 rowsH4635, sixH8337 on a rowH4635, uponH5921 the pureH2889 tableH7979 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068. 7And thou shalt putH5414 pureH2134 frankincenseH3828 uponH5921 each rowH4635, that it may be to the breadH3899 for a memorialH234, evenH5921 an offering madeH5414 by fireH801 unto the LORDH3068. 8EveryH3117 sabbathH7676 dayH3117 he shall set it in order beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 continuallyH8548; it is on the behalf of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, an everlastingH5769 covenantH1285. 9And it shall be for AaronH175 and his sonsH1121; and they shall eatH398 it in a holyH6944 placeH4725: for it is mostH6944 holyH6944 unto him of the offeringsH801 of the LORDH3068 madeH1961 by fireH801 by a perpetualH5769 statuteH2706. 10And the sonH1121 of an Israelitish womanH802, whoseH1121 father was an EgyptianH4713, wentH3318 outH3318 among the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: and the sonH1121 of the Israelitish womanH802 and a manH376 of IsraelH3478 strove together in the campH4264; 11and the sonH1121 of the Israelitish womanH802 blasphemed the NameH8034, and cursedH7043: and they broughtH935 him unto MosesH4872. And his mother’sH517 nameH8034 was ShelomithH8019, the daughterH1323 of DibriH1704, of the tribeH4294 of DanH1835. 12And they putH3240 him in ward, that it might be declared unto them at the mouthH6310 of the LORDH3068. 13And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 14BringH3318 forthH3318 him that hath cursedH7043 without the campH4264; and let allH3605 that heardH8085 him layH5564 their handsH3027 uponH5921 his headH7218, and let allH3605 the congregationH5712 stoneH7275 him. 15And thou shalt speakH1696 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, Whosoever curseth his GodH430 shall bearH5375 his sinH2399. 16And he that blasphemeth the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068, he shall surelyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191; allH3605 the congregationH5712 shall certainlyH4191 stoneH7275 him: as well the strangerH1616, as the homeborn, when he blasphemeth the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068, shall be putH4191 to deathH4191. 17And he that smiteth anyH3605 manH376 mortallyH4191 shall surelyH3588 be putH4191 to deathH4191; 18and he that smiteth a beastH929 mortally shall make it good: lifeH5315 for lifeH5315. 19And ifH3588 a manH376 causeH5414 a blemishH3971 in his neighbour; as he hath doneH6213, soH3651 shall it be doneH6213 to him; 20breach for breach, eyeH5869 for eyeH5869, toothH8127 for toothH8127: as he hath causedH5414 a blemishH3971 in a manH120, soH3651 shall it be rendered unto him. 21And he that killeth a beastH929 shall make it good: and he that killeth a manH120 shall be putH4191 to deathH4191. 22Ye shall have one mannerH4941 of law, as well for the strangerH1616, as for the homeborn: for I am the LORDH3068 your GodH430. 23And MosesH4872 spake to the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and they broughtH3318 forthH3318 him that had cursedH7043 outH3318 of the campH4264, and stonedH7275 him with stonesH68. And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 didH6213 as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
