Leviticus 6
Revised Version 1895
1And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2IfH1121 anyH3605 one sin, and commitH6680 a trespass againstH5921 the LORD, and deal falsely with his neighbour in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or have oppressed his neighbour; 3or have found that whichH834 was lost, and deal falsely thereto, and swear to a lie; in anyH398 of allH398 theseH834 that a manH1320 doeth, sinning therein: 4then it shall be, if he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he tookH3318 by robbery, or the thing which he hath gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found, 5or anyH3808 thing aboutH5921 whichH6086 he hath sworn falsely; he shall evenH3808 restore it in full, and shall add the fifth partH5921 moreH3808 thereto: unto him to whom it appertaineth shall he give it, in the dayH1242 of his being found guilty. 6And he shall bring his guilt offering unto the LORD, a ram withoutH3808 blemish outH5921 of the flock, accordingH5921 to thy estimation, for a guilt offering, unto the priest: 7and the priest shall make atonement for him beforeH6440 the LORDH3068, and he shall be forgiven; concerning whatsoever he doeth soH7126 as to be guilty thereby. 8And the LORDH3068 spake unto Moses, saying, 9Command AaronH175 and his sonsH1121, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: the burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar allH398 night unto the morning; and the fireH398 of the altar shall be keptH398 burning thereon. 10And the priest shall putH5414 on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he putH5414 upon his flesh; and he shall takeH5414 upH5414 the ashes whereto the fireH801 hath consumed the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall putH5414 them beside the altar. 11And he shall put offH398 his garments, and put on otherH3605 garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean placeH3605. 12And the fire uponH413 the altar shall be kept burning thereon, it shall not go outH413; and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning: and he shall lay the burnt offering in orderH559 uponH413 it, and shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offeringsH3068. 13Fire shall be kept burning upon the altar continuallyH8548; it shall notH2088 goH7126 outH853. 14And this is the law of the mealH4503 offering: the sons of Aaron shall offerH7126 it beforeH5921 the LORDH3068, beforeH5921 the altar. 15And he shall take upH853 therefrom his handful, of the fine flour of the meal offering, and of the oil thereof, and allH3632 the frankincense which is upon the meal offering, and shall burnH6999 it upon the altar for a sweet savour, as the memorial thereof, unto the LORDH3068. 16And that which is leftH1961 thereof shall Aaron and his sons eatH398: it shall be eatenH398 withoutH3808 leaven in a holy placeH1961; in the court of the tent of meeting they shall eatH398 it. 17It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it as their portion of my offeringsH3068 madeH1696 by fire; it is most holy, as the sin offering, and as the guilt offering. 18Every maleH1121 among the childrenH1121 of AaronH175 shall eat of it, as a dueH6440 for ever throughoutH413 your generations, from the offeringsH3068 of the LORDH3068 madeH1696 by fire: whosoever toucheth them shall be holyH6944. 19And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 20This is the oblation of Aaron and of his sons, whichH834 they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth partH5921 of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering perpetually, half of it in the morning, and half thereof in the evening. 21On a baking pan it shall be madeH834 with oil; when it is soaked, thou shalt bringH7665 it in: in baken piecesH7665 shalt thou offer the meal offering for a sweet savour unto the LORD. 22And the anointed priestH3548 that shall be in his stead from among his sons shall offer it: by a statute for ever it shall be whollyH3605 burnt unto the LORD. 23And everyH3605 meal offering of the priest shall be whollyH3605 burntH8313: it shall notH3808 be eatenH398. 24And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 25Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy. 26The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in a holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tent of meeting. 27Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in a holy place. 28But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen vessel, it shall be scoured, and rinsed in water. 29Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy. 30And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt with fire.
