Leviticus 27

Revised Version 1895

1And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 2SpeakH1696 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, When a manH376 shall accomplish a vowH5088, the personsH5315 shall be for the LORDH3068 by thy estimation. 3And thy estimation shall be of the maleH2145 from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 oldH1121 evenH5704 unto sixtyH8346 yearsH8141 oldH1121, evenH5704 thy estimation shall be fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701, afterH1961 the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944. 4And ifH518 it be a femaleH5347, then thy estimation shall be thirtyH7970 shekelsH8255. 5And ifH518 it be from fiveH2568 yearsH8141 oldH1121 evenH5704 unto twentyH6242 yearsH8141 oldH1121, then thy estimation shall be of the maleH2145 twentyH6242 shekelsH8255, and for the femaleH5347 tenH6235 shekelsH8255. 6And ifH518 it be from a monthH2320 oldH1121 evenH5704 unto fiveH2568 yearsH8141 oldH1121, then thy estimation shall be of the maleH2145 fiveH2568 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701, and for the femaleH5347 thy estimation shall be threeH7969 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701. 7And ifH518 it be from sixtyH8346 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605; ifH518 it be a maleH2145, then thy estimation shall be fifteenH6240 shekelsH8255, and for the femaleH5347 tenH6235 shekelsH8255. 8But ifH518 he be poorerH4134 thanH5921 thy estimation, then he shall be setH5975 beforeH6440 the priestH3548, and the priestH3548 shall valueH6187 him; accordingH5921 to the ability of him that vowedH5087 shall the priestH3548 valueH6187 him. 9And ifH518 it be a beastH929, whereof menH3605 offerH7126 an oblation unto the LORDH3068, allH3605 that anyH3605 manH3605 giveth of suchH834 unto the LORDH3068 shall be holyH6944. 10He shall notH3808 alter it, norH3808 changeH4171 it, a goodH2896 for a badH7451, or a badH7451 for a goodH2896: and ifH518 he shall at all changeH4171 beastH929 for beastH929, then both it and that for whichH1931 it is changedH2498 shall be holyH6944. 11And ifH518 it be anyH3605 uncleanH2931 beastH929, of whichH834 they doH518 notH3808 offerH7126 an oblation unto the LORDH3068, then he shall setH5975 the beastH929 beforeH6440 the priestH3548: 12and the priestH3548 shall valueH6187 it, whetherH996 it be goodH2896 or badH7451: as thou the priestH3548 valuest it, soH3651 shall it be. 13But ifH518 he will indeedH518 redeemH1350 it, then he shall addH3254 the fifthH2549 partH5921 thereof unto thy estimation. 14And when a manH376 shall sanctifyH6942 his houseH1004 to be holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068, then the priestH3548 shall estimate it, whetherH996 it be goodH2896 or badH7451: as the priestH3548 shall estimate it, soH3651 shall it standH6965. 15And ifH518 he that sanctifiedH6942 it will redeemH1350 his houseH1004, then he shall addH3254 the fifthH2549 partH5921 of the moneyH3701 of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his. 16And ifH518 a manH376 shall sanctifyH6942 unto the LORDH3068 part of the fieldH7704 of his possessionH272, then thy estimation shall be accordingH6310 to the sowingH2233 thereof: the sowingH2233 of a homer of barleyH8184 shall be valued at fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701. 17IfH518 he sanctifyH6942 his fieldH7704 from the yearH8141 of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall standH6965. 18But ifH518 he sanctifyH6942 his fieldH7704 afterH310 the jubile, then the priestH3548 shall reckon unto him the moneyH3701 accordingH5921 to the yearsH8141 that remainH3498 unto the yearH8141 of jubile, and an abatement shall be madeH6942 from thy estimation. 19And ifH518 he that sanctifiedH6942 the fieldH7704 will indeedH518 redeemH1350 it, then he shall addH3254 the fifthH2549 partH5921 of the moneyH3701 of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him. 20And ifH518 he will notH3808 redeemH1350 the fieldH7704, or ifH518 he have soldH4376 the fieldH7704 to anotherH312 manH376, it shall notH3808 be redeemedH1350 anyH376 moreH5750: 21but the fieldH7704, when it goeth outH3318 in the jubile, shall be holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068, as a fieldH7704 devotedH2764; the possessionH272 thereof shall be the priest’sH3548. 22And ifH518 he sanctifyH6942 unto the LORDH3068 a fieldH7704 whichH834 he hath boughtH4736, whichH834 is notH3808 of the fieldH7704 of his possessionH272; 23then the priestH3548 shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation unto the yearH8141 of jubile: and he shall giveH5414 thine estimation in that dayH3117, as a holyH6944 thingH6944 unto the LORDH3068. 24In the yearH8141 of jubile the fieldH7704 shall returnH7725 unto him of whomH834 it was boughtH7069, evenH853 to him to whomH834 the possessionH272 of the landH776 belongeth. 25And allH3605 thy estimations shall be according to the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944: twentyH6242 gerahsH1626 shall be the shekelH8255. 26OnlyH389 the firstling among beastsH929, whichH834 is madeH6942 a firstling to the LORDH3068, noH3808 manH376 shall sanctifyH6942 it; whetherH518 it be oxH7794 or sheepH7716, it is the LORD’SH3068. 27And ifH518 it be of an uncleanH2931 beastH929, then he shall ransomH6299 it accordingH5921 to thine estimation, and shall addH3254 unto it the fifthH2549 partH5921 thereof: or ifH518 it be notH3808 redeemedH1350, then it shall be soldH4376 accordingH5921 to thy estimation. 28Notwithstanding, noH3808 devotedH2764 thingH6944, that a manH376 shall devote unto the LORDH3068 of allH3605 that he hath, whether of manH376 or beastH929, or of the fieldH7704 of his possessionH272, shall be soldH4376 or redeemedH1350: everyH3605 devotedH2764 thingH6944 is mostH6944 holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068. 29NoneH3808 devotedH2764, whichH834 shall be devotedH2764 of menH120, shall be ransomedH6299; he shall surelyH4191 be putH4191 to deathH4191. 30And allH3605 the titheH4643 of the landH776, whether of the seedH2233 of the landH776, or of the fruitH6529 of the treeH6086, is the LORD’SH3068: it is holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068. 31And ifH518 a manH376 will redeemH1350 aught of his titheH4643, he shall addH3254 unto it the fifthH2549 partH5921 thereof. 32And allH3605 the titheH4643 of the herdH1241 or the flockH6629, whatsoeverH3605 passeth underH8478 the rodH7626, the tenthH6224 shall be holyH6944 unto the LORDH3068. 33He shall notH3808 search whetherH518 it be goodH2896 or badH7451, neitherH3808 shall he changeH4171 it: and ifH518 he changeH4171 it at all, then both it and that for whichH1931 it is changedH4171 shall be holyH6944; it shall notH3808 be redeemedH1350. 34TheseH428 are the commandmentsH4687, whichH834 the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872 for the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 in mountH2022 SinaiH5514.
