Revised Version 1895
Jeremiah 9:2-4
2Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging placeH7198 of wayfaring men; that I might leaveH3318 my peopleH3808, and goH3318 from them! for they be allH3045 adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
3And they bend their tongue as it were their bow for falsehood; and they are grown strong in the land, but notH408 for truth: for they proceedH1980 from evil to evil, and they know notH408 meH5921, saith the LORD.
4Take ye heed everyH376 one of his neighbour, and trust ye notH3808 in anyH376 brother: for everyH376 brother will utterly supplant, and everyH376 neighbour will go aboutH1696 with slanders.
