Revised Version 1895
Jeremiah 34:15-17
15And ye were nowH3117 turnedH7725, and had doneH6213 that whichH834 is rightH3477 in mine eyesH5869, in proclaimingH7121 libertyH1865 everyH376 manH376 to his neighbour; and ye had madeH6213 a covenantH1285 beforeH6440 meH6440 in the houseH1004 whichH834 is calledH7121 by my nameH8034:
16but ye turnedH7725 and profanedH2490 my nameH8034, and causedH1961 everyH376 manH376 his servantH5650, and everyH376 manH376 his handmaid, whomH834 ye had letH7971 goH7971 freeH2670 at their pleasure, to returnH7725; and ye broughtH7725 them intoH376 subjectionH3533, to be unto youH834 for servantsH5650 and for handmaids.
17Therefore thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: Ye have notH3808 hearkened unto meH413, to proclaimH7121 libertyH1865, everyH3605 manH376 to his brotherH251, and everyH3605 manH376 to his neighbour: beholdH2005, I proclaimH7121 unto youH859 a libertyH1865, saith the LORDH3068, to the swordH2719, to the pestilenceH1698, and to the famineH7458; and I will makeH5414 youH859 to be tossed to and fro among allH3605 the kingdomsH4467 of the earthH776.
