Jeremiah 20:3-10
And it cameH1961 to passH1961 on the morrow, that PashhurH6583 broughtH3318 forthH3318 JeremiahH3414 outH3318 of the stocksH4115. Then saidH559 JeremiahH3414 unto him, The LORDH3068 hath notH3808 calledH7121 thy nameH8034 PashhurH6583, but Magor-missabibH4036.
For thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, BeholdH2005, I will makeH5414 thee a terrorH4032 to thyself, and to allH3605 thy friendsH157: and they shall fallH5307 by the swordH2719 of their enemiesH341, and thine eyesH5869 shall beholdH2005 it: and I will giveH5414 allH3605 JudahH3063 intoH1540 the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and he shall carryH1540 them captiveH1540 to BabylonH894, and shall slayH5221 them with the swordH2719.
Moreover I will giveH5414 allH3605 the richesH2633 of this cityH5892, and allH3605 the gainsH214 thereof, and allH3605 the preciousH3366 things thereof, yea, allH3605 the treasuresH214 of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063 will I giveH5414 intoH935 the handH3027 of their enemiesH341, which shall spoilH962 them, and takeH3947 them, and carryH3947 them to BabylonH894.
And thou, PashhurH6583, and allH3605 that dwellH3427 in thine houseH1004 shall goH935 intoH935 captivityH7628: and thou shalt comeH935 to BabylonH894, and there thou shalt dieH4191, and there shalt thou be buriedH6912, thou, and allH3605 thy friendsH157, to whomH834 thou hast prophesiedH5012 falselyH8267.
O LORDH3068, thou hast deceived meH2388, and I was deceived: thou art strongerH2388 thanH3605 I, and hast prevailedH3201: I am becomeH1961 a laughingstockH7814 allH3605 the dayH3117, everyH3605 one mocketh meH2388.
For as oftenH1767 as I speakH1696, I cryH2199 outH2199; I cryH2199, ViolenceH2555 and spoil: becauseH3588 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 is madeH1696 a reproachH2781 unto meH7121, and a derisionH7047, allH3605 the dayH3117.
And ifH1961 I sayH559, I will notH3808 makeH2142 mentionH2142 of him, norH3808 speakH1696 anyH5750 moreH5750 in his nameH8034, then there is in mine heartH3820 as it were a burningH784 fireH784 shutH6113 upH1961 in my bonesH6106, and I am wearyH3811 with forbearing, and I cannotH3808 containH3557.
For I have heardH8085 the defaming of manyH7227, terrorH4032 on everyH3605 sideH5439. DenounceH5046, and weH3588 will denounceH5046 him, say allH3605 my familiar friendsH582, they that watchH8104 for my halting; peradventure he will be enticedH6601, and weH3588 shall prevailH3201 againstH4480 him, and weH3588 shall takeH3947 our revengeH5360 on him.
