Revised Version 1895

Genesis 8:1-14

And GodH430 rememberedH2142 NoahH5146, and everyH3605 livingH2416 thingH3605, and allH3605 the cattleH929 that were with him in the arkH8392: and GodH430 madeH3605 a windH7307 to passH5674 over the earthH776, and the watersH4325 assuaged;

the fountainsH4599 also of the deepH8415 and the windowsH699 of heavenH8064 were stoppedH3607, and the rainH1653 from heavenH8064 was restrainedH3607;

and the watersH4325 returnedH7725 from offH5921 the earthH776 continuallyH1980: and afterH5921 the endH7097 of an hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 daysH3117 the watersH4325 decreasedH2637.

And the arkH8392 restedH5117 in the seventhH7637 monthH2320, on the seventeenth dayH3117 of the monthH2320, uponH5921 the mountainsH2022 of AraratH780.

And the watersH4325 decreasedH2637 continuallyH1980 untilH5704 the tenthH6224 monthH2320: in the tenthH6224 monthH2320, on the firstH259 dayH2320 of the monthH2320, were the topsH7218 of the mountainsH2022 seenH7200.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961 at the endH7093 of fortyH705 daysH3117, that NoahH5146 openedH6605 the windowH2474 of the arkH8392 whichH834 he had madeH6213:

and he sentH7971 forthH3318 a ravenH6158, and it wentH3318 forthH3318 to and froH7725, untilH5704 the watersH4325 were driedH3001 upH3001 from offH5921 the earthH776.

And he sentH7971 forthH7971 a doveH3123 from him, to seeH7200 ifH7043 the watersH4325 were abatedH7043 from offH5921 the faceH6440 of the groundH127;

but the doveH3123 foundH4672 noH3808 restH4494 for the soleH3709 of herH3605 footH7272, and sheH3588 returnedH7725 unto him to the arkH8392, for the watersH4325 were on the faceH6440 of the wholeH3605 earthH776: and he putH7971 forthH7971 his handH3027, and tookH3947 herH3605, and broughtH935 herH3605 in unto him intoH413 the arkH8392.

And he stayedH5750 yet otherH312 sevenH7651 daysH3117; and againH5750 he sentH7971 forthH7971 the doveH3123 outH4480 of the arkH8392;

and the doveH3123 cameH935 in to him at eventide; and, loH2009, in herH413 mouthH6310 an oliveH2132 leafH5929 pluckt offH5921: soH935 NoahH5146 knewH3045 that the watersH4325 were abatedH7043 from offH5921 the earthH776.

And he stayedH5750 yet otherH312 sevenH7651 daysH3117; and sentH7971 forthH7971 the doveH3123; and sheH3808 returnedH7725 notH3808 againH5750 unto him anyH5750 moreH5750.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961 in the sixH8337 hundredH3967 and firstH7223 yearH8141, in the firstH7223 monthH2320, the firstH7223 dayH2320 of the monthH2320, the watersH4325 were dried upH7200 from offH5921 the earthH776: and NoahH5146 removedH5493 the coveringH4372 of the arkH8392, and lookedH7200, and, beholdH2009, the faceH6440 of the groundH776 was dried.

And in the secondH8145 monthH2320, on the sevenH7651 and twentiethH6242 dayH3117 of the monthH2320, was the earthH776 dryH3001.
