Genesis 44:8-33
BeholdH2005, the moneyH3701, whichH834 weH834 foundH4672 in our sacks’ mouthsH6310, weH834 broughtH7725 againH7725 unto thee outH413 of the landH776 of CanaanH3667: howH349 then should weH834 stealH1589 outH413 of thy lord’sH113 houseH1004 silverH3701 or goldH2091?
With whomsoever of thy servantsH5650 it be foundH4672, letH1961 him dieH4191, and weH587 also will be my lord’sH113 bondmen.
And he saidH559, NowH6258 also letH6258 it be according unto your wordsH1697: he with whomH834 it is foundH4672 shall be my bondman; and ye shall be blameless.
Then they hasted, and tookH853 downH3381 everyH376 manH376 his sackH572 to the groundH776, and openedH6605 everyH376 manH376 his sackH572.
And he searchedH2664, and beganH2490 at the eldest, and leftH4672 at the youngestH6996: and the cupH1375 was foundH4672 in Benjamin’sH1144 sackH572.
Then they rent their clothesH8071, and laded everyH376 manH376 his ass, and returnedH7725 to the cityH5892.
And JudahH3063 and his brethrenH251 cameH935 to Joseph’sH3130 houseH1004; and he was yet there: and they fellH5307 beforeH6440 him on the groundH776.
And JosephH3130 saidH559 unto them, WhatH4100 deedH4639 is this that ye have doneH6213? knowH3045 ye notH3808 that suchH2088 a manH376 as I canH4100 indeedH3588 divine?
And JudahH3063 saidH559, WhatH4100 shall weH587 sayH559 unto my lordH113? whatH4100 shall weH587 speakH1696? or howH4100 shall weH587 clear ourselvesH587? GodH430 hath foundH4672 outH4100 the iniquityH5771 of thy servantsH5650: beholdH2005, weH587 are my lord’sH113 bondmen, bothH1571 weH587, and he also in whoseH834 handH3027 the cupH1375 is foundH4672.
And he saidH559, GodH559 forbidH2486 that I should doH6213 soH6213: the manH376 in whoseH834 handH3027 the cupH1375 is foundH4672, he shall be my bondman; but as for youH859, getH5927 youH859 upH5927 in peaceH7965 unto your fatherH1.
Then JudahH3063 cameH5066 nearH5066 unto him, and saidH559, OhH4994 my lordH113, letH4994 thy servantH5650, I prayH4994 thee, speakH1696 a wordH1697 in my lord’sH113 earsH241, and letH4994 notH408 thine angerH639 burnH2734 againstH413 thy servantH5650: for thou art evenH3588 as PharaohH6547.
My lordH113 askedH7592 his servantsH5650, sayingH559, Have ye a fatherH1, or a brotherH251?
And weH905 saidH559 unto my lordH113, WeH905 have a fatherH1, an oldH2205 manH2205, and a childH3206 of his oldH2205 ageH2208, a littleH6996 one; and his brotherH251 is deadH4191, and he aloneH905 is leftH3498 of his motherH517, and his fatherH1 loveth him.
And thou saidst unto thy servantsH5650, BringH3381 him downH3381 unto meH413, that I may setH7760 mine eyesH5869 uponH5921 him.
And weH3201 saidH559 unto my lordH113, The ladH5288 cannotH3808 leaveH5800 his fatherH1: for if he should leaveH5800 his fatherH1, his fatherH1 would dieH4191.
And thou saidst unto thy servantsH5650, ExceptH518 your youngestH6996 brotherH251 comeH3381 downH3381 with youH518, ye shall seeH7200 my faceH6440 noH3808 moreH3254.
And it cameH1961 to passH1961 when weH3588 cameH1961 upH5927 unto thy servantH5650 my fatherH1, weH3588 toldH5046 him the wordsH1697 of my lordH113.
And our fatherH1 saidH559, GoH7725 againH7725, buyH7666 usH7725 a littleH4592 foodH400.
And weH3588 saidH559, WeH3588 cannotH3808 goH3381 downH3381: ifH518 our youngestH6996 brotherH251 be with usH3588, then will weH3588 goH3381 downH3381: for weH3588 may notH3808 seeH7200 the man’sH376 faceH6440, exceptH518 our youngestH6996 brotherH251 be with usH3588.
And thy servantH5650 my fatherH1 saidH559 unto usH413, Ye knowH3045 that my wifeH802 bare meH413 twoH8147 sonsH3205:
and the one wentH3318 outH3318 from meH7200, and I saidH559, SurelyH389 he is tornH2963 in piecesH2963; and I have notH3808 seenH7200 him since:
and if ye takeH3947 this one also from meH6440, and mischief befall him, ye shall bringH3381 downH3381 my grayH7872 hairsH7872 with sorrow to the grave.
NowH6258 therefore when I comeH935 to thy servantH5650 my fatherH1, and the ladH5288 be notH369 with usH413; seeing that his lifeH5315 is boundH7194 upH935 in the lad’sH5288 lifeH5315;
it shall comeH1961 to passH1961, when he seeth that the ladH5288 is notH369 with usH3588, that he will dieH4191: and thy servantsH5650 shall bringH3381 downH3381 the grayH7872 hairsH7872 of thy servantH5650 our fatherH1 with sorrowH3015 to the grave.
For thy servantH5650 becameH6148 suretyH6148 for the ladH5288 unto my fatherH1, sayingH559, IfH518 I bringH935 him notH3808 unto thee, then shall I bearH2398 the blameH2398 to my fatherH1 for ever.
NowH6258 therefore, letH4994 thy servantH5650, I prayH4994 thee, abideH3427 insteadH8478 of the ladH5288 a bondman to my lordH113; and letH4994 the ladH5288 goH5927 upH5927 with his brethrenH251.
