Genesis 4:8-26
8And CainH7014 toldH559 AbelH1893 his brotherH251. And it cameH1961 to passH1961, when they were in the fieldH7704, that CainH7014 roseH6965 upH6965 againstH413 AbelH1893 his brotherH251, and slewH2026 him. 9And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto CainH7014, WhereH335 is AbelH1893 thy brotherH251? And he saidH559, I knowH3045 notH3808: am I my brother’sH251 keeperH8104? 10And he saidH559, WhatH4100 hast thou doneH6213? the voiceH6963 of thy brother’sH251 bloodH1818 crieth unto meH413 from the groundH127. 11And nowH6258 cursedH779 art thou from the groundH127, whichH834 hath openedH6475 herH3947 mouthH6310 to receiveH3947 thy brother’sH251 bloodH1818 from thy handH3027; 12when thou tillest the groundH776, it shall notH3808 henceforth yieldH5414 unto thee herH5414 strengthH3581; a fugitive and a wandererH5110 shalt thou be in the earthH776. 13And CainH7014 saidH559 unto the LORDH3068, My punishmentH5771 is greaterH1419 thanH1419 I can bearH5375. 14BeholdH2005, thou hast drivenH1644 meH6440 outH1644 this dayH3117 from the faceH6440 of the groundH776; and from thy faceH6440 shall I be hidH5641; and I shall be a fugitive and a wandererH5110 in the earthH776; and it shall comeH1961 to passH1961, that whosoever findeth meH6440 shall slayH2026 meH6440. 15And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth CainH7014, vengeanceH5358 shall be takenH5358 on him sevenfoldH7659. And the LORDH3068 appointedH7760 a signH226 for CainH7014, lest anyH3605 findingH4672 him should smiteH5221 him. 16And CainH7014 wentH3318 outH3318 from the presenceH6440 of the LORDH3068, and dweltH3427 in the landH776 of NodH5113, on the eastH6926 of EdenH5731. 17And CainH7014 knewH3045 his wifeH802; and sheH7121 conceivedH2029, and bare EnochH2585: and he builded a cityH5892, and calledH7121 the nameH8034 of the cityH5892, afterH1961 the nameH8034 of his sonH1121, EnochH2585. 18And unto EnochH2585 was bornH3205 IradH5897: and IradH5897 begat MehujaelH4232: and MehujaelH4232 begat MethushaelH4967: and MethushaelH4967 begat LamechH3929. 19And LamechH3929 tookH3947 unto him twoH8147 wivesH802: the nameH8034 of the one was AdahH5711, and the nameH8034 of the otherH259 ZillahH6741. 20And AdahH5711 bare JabalH2989: he was the fatherH1 of suchH1931 as dwellH3427 in tentsH168 and have cattleH4735. 21And his brother’sH251 nameH8034 was JubalH3106: he was the fatherH1 of allH3605 suchH1931 as handleH8610 the harpH3658 and pipeH5748. 22And ZillahH6741, sheH1931 also bare Tubal-cainH8423, the forgerH3913 of everyH3605 cutting instrument of brassH5178 and ironH1270: and the sisterH269 of Tubal-cainH8423 was NaamahH5279. 23And LamechH3929 saidH559 unto his wivesH802: AdahH5711 and ZillahH6741, hearH8085 my voiceH6963; Ye wivesH802 of LamechH3929, hearken unto my speech: For I have slainH2026 a manH376 for woundingH6482 meH6963, And a youngH3206 manH376 for bruising meH6963: 24IfH3588 CainH7014 shall be avengedH5358 sevenfoldH7659, TrulyH3588 LamechH3929 seventyH7657 and sevenfoldH7659. 25And AdamH121 knewH3045 his wifeH802 againH5750; and sheH3588 bare a sonH1121, and calledH7121 his nameH8034 SethH8352: For, said sheH3588, GodH430 hath appointedH7896 meH7121 anotherH312 seedH2233 insteadH8478 of AbelH1893; for CainH7014 slewH2026 him. 26And to SethH8352, to him also there was bornH3205 a sonH1121; and he calledH7121 his nameH8034 EnoshH583: then beganH2490 menH1121 to callH7121 uponH7121 the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068.
