Genesis 32:23-32

23And he tookH3947 them, and sentH3947 them over the stream, and sentH3947 over that he had. 24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25And when he saw that he prevailed not againstH5973 him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’sH3290 thigh was strained, as he wrestledH79 with him. 26And he said, LetH3808 meH7200 go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will notH3808 letH3808 thee go, exceptH3808 thou bless meH7200. 27And he saidH559 unto him, WhatH3588 is thy nameH559? And he saidH559, JacobH559. 28And he saidH559, Thy nameH8034 shall be calledH559 no more JacobH3290, but Israel: for thou hast striven with GodH559 and with menH559, and hast prevailed. 29And JacobH3290 askedH559 him, and saidH559, TellH559 meH5973, I pray thee, thy nameH8034. And he saidH559, Wherefore is it that thou dost askH559 afterH3588 my nameH8034? And he blessed him there. 30And JacobH3290 calledH559 the nameH8034 of the placeH8033 Peniel: for, saidH559 he, I have seen GodH559 face to face, and my life is preserved. 31And the sun rose uponH7121 him as he passed over PenuelH6439, and he halted uponH7121 his thigh. 32Therefore the children of Israel eat not the sinew of the hipH3409 whichH834 is uponH5921 the hollow of the thighH3409, unto this day: becauseH5921 he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thighH3409 in the sinew of the hipH3409.
