Samuel 22:1-8
DavidH1732 therefore departedH3381 thence, and escapedH4422 to the caveH4631 of AdullamH5725: and when his brethrenH251 and allH3605 his father’sH1 houseH1004 heardH8085 it, they wentH3381 downH3381 thither to him.
And everyH3605 one that was in distressH4689, and everyH3605 one that was in debt, and everyH3605 one that was discontented, gatheredH6908 themselvesH5315 unto him; and he becameH1961 captainH8269 over them: and there were with him aboutH1961 fourH702 hundredH3967 menH376.
And DavidH1732 wentH3318 thence to MizpehH4708 of MoabH4124: and he saidH559 unto the kingH4428 of MoabH4124, LetH4994 my fatherH1 and my motherH517, I prayH4994 thee, comeH3318 forthH3318, and be with youH834, tillH5704 I knowH3045 whatH4100 GodH430 will doH6213 for meH413.
And he broughtH1961 them beforeH6440 the kingH4428 of MoabH4124: and they dweltH3427 with him allH3605 the whileH1961 that DavidH1732 was in the hold.
And the prophetH5030 GadH1410 saidH559 unto DavidH1732, AbideH3427 notH3808 in the hold; depart, and getH935 thee intoH413 the landH776 of JudahH3063. Then DavidH1732 departedH935, and cameH935 intoH413 the forestH3293 of HerethH2802.
And SaulH7586 heardH8085 that DavidH1732 was discoveredH3045, and the menH376 that were with him: nowH3588 SaulH7586 was sittingH3427 in GibeahH1390, underH8478 the tamariskH815 treeH815 in Ramah, with his spearH2595 in his handH3027, and allH3605 his servantsH5650 were standingH5324 aboutH5921 him.
And SaulH7586 saidH559 unto his servantsH5650 that stoodH5324 aboutH5921 him, HearH8085 nowH4994, ye Benjamites; will the sonH1121 of JesseH3448 giveH5414 everyH3605 one of youH5414 fieldsH7704 and vineyardsH3754, will he makeH7760 youH5414 allH3605 captainsH8269 of thousandsH505 and captainsH8269 of hundredsH3967;
that allH3605 of youH3588 have conspiredH7194 againstH5921 meH5921, and there is noneH369 that discloseth to meH5921 when my sonH1121 maketh a league with the sonH1121 of JesseH3448, and there is noneH369 of youH3588 that is sorry for meH5921, or discloseth unto meH5921 that my sonH1121 hath stirredH6965 upH6965 my servantH5650 againstH5921 meH5921, to lieH693 in waitH693, as at this dayH3117?
