24becauseכִּי֩kiH3588Hamanהָמָ֨ןha.ManH2001thesonבֶּֽן־ben-H1121of Hammedatha, theAgagiteהָֽאֲגָגִ֗יha.'a.ga.GiH91, theenemyצֹרֵר֙tzo.RerH6887ofallכָּל־kol-H3605theJewsהַיְּהוּדִ֔יםhai.ye.hu.DimH3064, haddevisedחָשַׁ֥בcha.ShavH2803againstעַל־'al-H5921theJewsהַיְּהוּדִ֖יםhai.ye.hu.DimH3064todestroyלְאַבְּדָ֑םle.'a.be.DamH6them, and hadcastוְהִפִּ֥ילve.hi.PilH5307Purפּוּר֙purH6332, that is, thelotהַגּוֹרָ֔לha.go.RalH1486, to consume them, and todestroyוּֽלְאַבְּדָֽם׃U.le.'a.be.DamH6them;

25but when the mattercameוּבְבֹאָהּ֮u.ve.vo.'AhH935beforeH6440thekingהַמֶּלֶךְ֒ha.me.leKhH4428, hecommandedאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559bylettersהַסֵּ֔פֶרha.Se.ferH5612that hiswickedהָרָעָ֛הha.ra.'AhH7451device,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he haddevisedחָשַׁ֥בcha.ShavH2803againstH5921theJewsהַיְּהוּדִ֖יםhai.ye.hu.DimH3064, shouldreturnיָשׁ֞וּבya.ShuvH7725uponH5921hisownH6440headרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218; and that he and hissonsבָּנָ֖יוba.NavH1121should hehangedוְתָל֥וּve.ta.LuH8518on thegallowsהָעֵֽץ׃ha.'EtzH6086.

26Wherefore theycalledקָֽרְאוּ֩ka.re.'UH7121theseH428daysלַיָּמִ֨יםlai.ya.MimH3117Purimפוּרִים֙fu.RimH6332,afterH5921thenameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034ofPurהַפּ֔וּרha.PurH6332. 28and thattheseהָ֠אֵלֶּהHa.'e.lehH428daysוְהַיָּמִ֣יםve.hai.ya.MimH3117should berememberedנִזְכָּרִ֨יםniz.ka.RimH2142andkeptוְנַעֲשִׂ֜יםve.na.'a.SimH6213throughoutH3605everyH3605generationH1755,everyH3605familyH4940,everyH3605provinceH4082, andeveryH3605cityH5892; and thattheseהָאֵ֗לֶּהha.'E.lehH428daysוִימֵ֞יvi.MeiH3117ofPurimהַפּוּרִ֣יםha.pu.RimH6332shouldnotלֹ֤אlo'H3808failיַֽעַבְרוּ֙ya.'av.RuH5674from among theJewsהַיְּהוּדִ֔יםhai.ye.hu.DimH3064,norלֹא־lo'-H3808the memorial of them perish from theirseedמִזַּרְעָֽם׃ סmi.zar.'AmH2233.
