4because they metyouH5704notH3808with bread and with water in thewayH5704, when yecameH935forthoutH935of Egypt; and because they hiredagainstH935thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

5Nevertheless the LORD thyGodH3808wouldnotH3808hearken untoBalaamH1109; but the LORD thyGodH3808turned thecurseלְקַֽלְלֶֽךָּ׃le.Ka.Le.kaH7043intoעַל־'al-H5921a blessing unto thee,becauseעָלֶ֜יךָ'a.Lei.khaH5921the LORD thyGodH3808loved thee.

6Thou shaltnotH3808seekH3808theirpeaceלִבְרָכָ֑הliv.ra.KhahH1293norH3808their prosperity all thy days for ever.

7Thou shaltnotH3808abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shaltnotH3808abhor an Egyptian;becauseיָמֶ֖יךָya.Mei.khaH3117thou wast a stranger in his land.

8The children of the third generation that arebornH3808unto them shall enterintoבְאַרְצֽוֹ׃ve.'ar.TzoH776the assembly of the LORD.
