2Therichלְעָשִׁ֗ירle.'a.ShirH6223manH6223hadexceedingמְאֹֽד׃me.'OdH3966manyהַרְבֵּ֥הhar.BehH7235flocksצֹ֥אןtzonH6629andherdsוּבָקָ֖רu.va.KarH1241:

3but thepoorוְלָרָ֣שׁve.la.RashH7326manH1121hadnothingאֵֽין־'ein-H369, save onelittleקְטַנָּה֙ke.ta.NahH6996eweH3535lambH3535,whichH834he hadboughtקָנָ֔הka.NahH7069and nourishedupH1431: and itgrewH1431upH1431togetherיַחְדָּ֑וyach.DavH3162with him, and with hischildrenH1121; itdidH834eatתֹאכַ֜לto.KhalH398of hisownH1961morselמִפִּתּ֨וֹmi.pi.ToH6595, anddrankתִשְׁתֶּה֙tish.TehH8354of hisownH1961cupוּמִכֹּס֤וֹu.mi.ko.SoH3563, andlayתִשְׁכָּ֔בtish.KavH7901in hisbosomוּבְחֵיק֣וֹu.ve.chei.KoH2436, and was unto him as adaughterכְּבַֽת׃ke.VatH1323.

4And therecameוַיָּ֣בֹאvai.Ya.vo'H935a traveller unto therichהֶֽעָשִׁיר֒he.'a.ShirH6223manלְאִ֣ישׁle.'IshH376, and hesparedוַיַּחְמֹ֗לvai.yach.MolH2550totakeלָקַ֤חַתla.Ka.chatH3947of hisownH376flockמִצֹּאנוֹ֙mi.tzo.NoH6629and of hisownH376herdוּמִבְּקָר֔וֹu.mi.be.ka.RoH1241, to dress for the wayfaringmanהָאִ֣ישׁha.'IshH376that wascomeהַבָּא־ha.ba'-H935unto him, buttookוַיִּקַּ֗חvai.yi.KachH3947thepoorהָרָ֔אשׁha.RashH7326man’sלָאִ֖ישׁla.'IshH376lambכִּבְשַׂת֙kiv.SatH3535, and dressed it for themanH376that wascomeהַבָּ֥אha.Ba'H935to him.

5AndDavid’sדָּוִ֛דda.VidH1732angerאַ֥ף'afH639wasgreatlyמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966kindledוַיִּֽחַר־vai.yi.char-H2734againstאֶל־'el-H413themanבָּאִ֖ישׁba.'IshH376; and hesaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559toNathanנָתָ֔ןna.TanH5416, As theLORDיְהוָ֕הYah.wehH3068liveth, themanהָאִ֖ישׁha.'IshH376that hathdoneהָעֹשֶׂ֥הha.'o.SehH6213this is worthy todieמָ֔וֶתMa.vetH4194:

6and he shall restore thelambהַכִּבְשָׂ֖הha.kiv.SahH3535fourfoldאַרְבַּעְתָּ֑יִם'ar.ba'.Ta.yimH706,becauseH5921hedidעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213thisthingהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697, andbecauseH5921he hadnoלֹֽא־lo'-H3808pityחָמָֽל׃cha.MalH2550.
