And onesaidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Isnotהֲלוֹא־ha.lo'-H3808this Bath-sheba, thedaughterבַּת־bat-H1323ofEliamאֱלִיעָ֔ם'e.li.'AmH463, thewifeאֵ֖שֶׁת'E.shetH802ofUriahאוּרִיָּ֥ה'u.ri.YahH223theHittiteהַחִתִּֽי׃ha.chi.TiH2850?

4AndDavidדָּוִ֨דda.VidH1732sentוַיִּשְׁלַח֩vai.yish.LachH7971messengersמַלְאָכִ֜יםmal.'a.KhimH4397, andtookוַיִּקָּחֶ֗הָvai.yi.ka.Che.haH3947herH413; andsheH1931cameוַתָּב֤וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935in unto him, and helayוַיִּשְׁכַּ֣בvai.yish.KavH7901withherH413; (forsheH1931waspurifiedמִתְקַדֶּ֖שֶׁתmit.ka.De.shetH6942fromherH413uncleannessמִטֻּמְאָתָ֑הּmi.tum.'a.TahH2932;) andsheH1931returnedוַתָּ֖שָׁבva.Ta.shovH7725untoherH413houseבֵּיתָֽהּ׃bei.TahH1004.

5And thewomanהָֽאִשָּׁ֑הha.'i.ShahH802conceivedוַתַּ֖הַרva.Ta.harH2029; and shesentוַתִּשְׁלַח֙va.tish.LachH7971andtoldוַתַּגֵּ֣דva.ta.GedH5046Davidלְדָוִ֔דle.da.VidH1732, andsaidוַתֹּ֖אמֶרva.To.merH559, I am withchildהָרָ֥הha.RahH2030.

6AndDavidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971toJoabיוֹאָ֔בyo.'AvH3097, saying,Sendשְׁלַ֣חshe.LachH7971meH413Uriahאֽוּרִיָּ֖ה'u.ri.YahH223theHittiteהַחִתִּ֑יha.chi.TiH2850. AndJoabיוֹאָ֛בyo.'AvH3097sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֥חvai.yish.LachH7971Uriahאֽוּרִיָּ֖ה'u.ri.YahH223toDavidדָּוִֽד׃da.VidH1732.

7And whenUriahאוּרִיָּ֖ה'u.ri.YahH223wascomeוַיָּבֹ֥אvai.ya.Vo'H935unto him,Davidדָּוִ֗דda.VidH1732askedוַיִּשְׁאַ֣לvai.yish.'AlH7592of himhowלִשְׁל֤וֹםlish.LomH7965Joabיוֹאָב֙yo.'AvH3097did, andhowוְלִשְׁל֣וֹםve.lish.LomH7965thepeopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971fared, andhowוְלִשְׁל֖וֹםve.lish.LomH7965thewarהַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ha.mil.cha.MahH4421prospered.
