3How hast thou counselledיָּ֭עַצְתָּYa.'atz.taH3289him that hathnoלְלֹ֣אle.Lo'H3808wisdomחָכְמָ֑הchokh.mahH2451? and howhast thou plentifullyלָרֹ֥בla.RoH7230declaredהוֹדָֽעְתָּ׃ho.Da.'e.taH3045the thing as it isוְ֝תוּשִׁיָּ֗הve.tu.shi.YahH8454?

4To whom hast thou utteredהִגַּ֣דְתָּhi.Gad.taH5046wordsמִלִּ֑יןmi.LinH4405?and whose spiritוְנִשְׁמַת־ve.nish.mat-H5397cameיָצְאָ֥הya.tze.'AhH3318from thee?

5Deadהָרְפָאִ֥יםha.re.fa.'ImH7496thingsare formedיְחוֹלָ֑לוּye.cho.La.luH2342from under the watersמַ֝֗יִםMa.yimH4325,and the inhabitantsוְשֹׁכְנֵיהֶֽם׃ve.sho.khe.nei.HemH7931thereof.

6Hellשְׁא֣וֹלshe.'olH7585isnakedעָר֣וֹםa.RomH6174before him, and destructionלָֽאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃La.'a.va.DonH11hath no coveringכְּ֝ס֗וּתke.SutH3682.

7He stretcheth outנֹטֶ֣הno.TehH5186the northצָפ֣וֹןtza.FonH6828over the empty placeתֹּ֑הוּTo.huH8414, andhangethתֹּ֥לֶהTo.lehH8518the earthאֶ֝֗רֶץ'E.retzH776upon nothingH1099.

8He bindeth upצֹרֵֽר־tzo.rer-H6887the watersמַ֥יִםMa.yimH4325in his thick cloudsבְּעָבָ֑יוbe.'a.VavH5645;and the cloudעָנָ֣ן'a.NanH6051is not rentנִבְקַ֖עniv.Ka'H1234under them.

9He holdeth backמְאַחֵ֥זme.'a.ChezH270the faceפְּנֵי־pe.nei-H6440of his throneכִסֵּ֑הkhi.SehH3678, andspreadethפַּרְשֵׁ֖זpar.ShezH6576his cloudעֲנָנֽוֹ׃a.na.NoH6051upon it.
