21And when all the Moabitesמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124heardשָֽׁמְע֔וּsha.me.'UH8085that the kingsהַמְּלָכִ֖יםha.me.la.KhimH4428were come upעָל֥וּ'a.LuH5927to fightלְהִלָּ֣חֶםle.hi.La.chemH3898against them, they gatheredוַיִּצָּעֲק֗וּvai.yi.tza.'a.KuH6817all that were able to putחֹגֵ֤רcho.GerH2296on armourחֲגֹרָה֙cha.go.RahH2290,and upwardוָמַ֔עְלָהva.Ma'.lahH4605,and stoodוַיַּעַמְד֖וּvai.ya.'am.DuH5975in the borderהַגְּבֽוּל׃ha.ge.VulH1366.

22And they rose up earlyוַיַּשְׁכִּ֣ימוּvai.yash.Ki.muH7925in the morningבַבֹּ֔קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242,and the sunוְהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁve.ha.She.meshH8121shoneזָרְחָ֣הza.re.ChahH2224upon the waterהַמָּ֑יִםha.Ma.yimH4325,and the Moabitesמוֹאָ֥בmo.'AvH4124sawוַיִּרְא֨וּvai.yir.'UH7200the waterהַמַּ֖יִםha.Ma.yimH4325on the other sideמִנֶּ֛גֶדmi.Ne.gedH5048asredאֲדֻמִּ֥ים'a.du.MimH122as bloodכַּדָּֽם׃ka.DamH1818:

23And they saidוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559, This isbloodדָּ֣םdamH1818:the kingsהַמְּלָכִ֔יםha.me.la.KhimH4428are surelyהָחֳרֵ֤בho.cho.RevH2717slainנֶֽחֶרְבוּ֙ne.cher.VuH2717,and they have smittenוַיַּכּ֖וּvai.ya.KuH5221oneאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376anotherרֵעֵ֑הוּre.'E.huH7453:now therefore, Moabמוֹאָֽב׃mo.'AvH4124,to the spoilלַשָּׁלָ֖לla.sha.LalH7998.

24And when they cameוַיָּבֹאוּ֮vai.ya.vo.'UH935to the campמַחֲנֵ֣הma.cha.NehH4264of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478,the Israelitesיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478rose upוַיָּקֻ֤מוּvai.ya.Ku.muH6965and smoteוַיַּכּ֣וּvai.ya.KuH5221the Moabitesמוֹאָ֔בmo.'AvH4124,so that they fledוַיָּנֻ֖סוּvai.ya.Nu.suH5127beforeמִפְּנֵיהֶ֑םmi.pe.nei.HemH6440them: but they went forwardוַיַּכּוּva.yakoH5221smitingוְהַכּ֖וֹתve.ha.KotH5221the Moabitesמוֹאָֽב׃mo.'AvH4124, even in their country.

25And they beat downיַהֲרֹ֡סוּya.ha.Ro.suH2040the citiesוְהֶעָרִ֣יםve.he.'a.RimH5892,and on every goodט֠וֹבָהToahH2896pieceחֶלְקָ֣הchel.KahH2513of land castיַשְׁלִ֨יכוּyash.Li.khuH7993every manאִישׁ־'ish-H376his stoneאַבְנ֜וֹ'av.NoH68,and filledוּמִלְא֗וּהָu.mil.'U.haH4390it; and they stoppedיִסְתֹּ֙מוּ֙yis.To.muH5640all the wellsמַעְיַן־ma'.yan-H4599of waterמַ֤יִםMa.yimH4325,and felledיַפִּ֔ילוּya.Pi.luH5307all the goodט֣וֹבTovH2896treesעֵֽץ־'etz-H6086:only in Kir–harasethH7025leftהִשְׁאִ֧ירhish.'IrH7604they the stonesאֲבָנֶ֛יהָ'a.va.Nei.haH68thereof; howbeit the slingersהַקַּלָּעִ֖יםha.ka.la.'ImH7051went aboutוַיָּסֹ֥בּוּvai.ya.So.buH5437it,and smoteוַיַּכּֽוּהָ׃vai.ya.Ku.haH5221it.
