13And it was so,when Elijahאֵלִיָּ֗הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452heardכִּשְׁמֹ֣עַkish.Mo.a'H8085it,that he wrappedוַיָּ֤לֶטvai.Ya.letH3874his faceפָּנָיו֙pa.NavH6440in his mantleבְּאַדַּרְתּ֔וֹbe.'a.dar.ToH155,and went outוַיֵּצֵ֕אvai.ye.Tze'H3318,and stoodוַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975in the entering inפֶּ֣תַחPe.tachH6607of the caveהַמְּעָרָ֑הha.me.'a.RahH4631. And, behold, there camea voiceק֔וֹלKolH6963unto him, and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,What doest thou here, Elijahאֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃'e.li.Ya.huH452?

14And he saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559,I have been veryקַנֹּ֨אka.No'H7065jealousקִנֵּ֜אתִיki.Ne.tiH7065for Yhwhלַיהוָ֣ה׀la.Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Armiesצְבָא֗וֹתtze.va.'otH6635:because the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478have forsakenעָזְב֤וּ'a.ze.VuH5800thy covenantבְרִֽיתְךָ֙ve.ri.te.KhaH1285,thrown downהָרָ֔סוּha.Ra.suH2040thine altarsמִזְבְּחֹתֶ֣יךָmiz.be.cho.Tei.khaH4196,and slainהָרְג֣וּha.re.GuH2026thy prophetsנְבִיאֶ֖יךָne.vi.'Ei.khaH5030with the swordבֶחָ֑רֶבve.Cha.revH2719; and I, evenI only, am leftוָאִוָּתֵ֤רva.'i.va.TerH3498;and they seekוַיְבַקְשׁ֥וּvay.vak.ShuH1245my lifeנַפְשִׁ֖יnaf.ShiH5315,to take it awayלְקַחְתָּֽהּ׃ סle.kach.TahH3947.

15And Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, GoH3212,returnשׁ֥וּבshuvH7725on thy wayלְדַרְכְּךָ֖le.dar.ke.KhaH1870to the wildernessמִדְבַּ֣רָהmid.Ba.rahH4057of Damascusדַמָּ֑שֶׂקda.Ma.sekH1834:and when thou comestוּבָ֗אתָu.Va.taH935,anointוּמָשַׁחְתָּ֧u.ma.shach.TaH4886Hazaelחֲזָאֵ֛לcha.za.'ElH2371to bekingלְמֶ֖לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428over Syriaאֲרָֽם׃'a.RamH758:

17And it shall come to pass, thathim that escapethהַנִּמְלָ֛טha.nim.LatH4422the swordמֵחֶ֥רֶבme.Che.revH2719of Hazaelחֲזָאֵ֖לcha.za.'ElH2371shall Jehuיֵה֑וּאye.Hu'H3058slayיָמִ֣יתya.MitH4191:and him that escapethוְהַנִּמְלָ֛טve.ha.nim.LatH4422from the swordמֵחֶ֥רֶבme.Che.revH2719of Jehuיֵה֖וּאye.Hu'H3058shall Elishaאֱלִישָֽׁע׃'e.li.Sha'H477slayיָמִ֥יתya.MitH4191.
