6So they dividedוַֽיְחַלְּק֥וּvay.cha.le.KuH2505the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776between them to pass throughoutלַֽעֲבָר־la.'a.vor-H5674it: Ahabאַחְאָ֞ב'ach.'AvH256wentהָלַ֨ךְha.LakhH1980oneאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259wayבְּדֶ֤רֶךְbe.De.rekhH1870by himself, and Obadiahוְעֹֽבַדְיָ֛הוּve.'oad.Ya.huH5662wentהָלַ֥ךְha.LakhH1980anotherאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259wayבְּדֶרֶךְ־be.de.rekh-H1870by himself.

7And as Obadiahעֹבַדְיָ֙הוּ֙'oad.Ya.huH5662was in the wayבַּדֶּ֔רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870,behold, Elijahאֵלִיָּ֖הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452metH7125him: and he knewוַיַּכִּרֵ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.ki.Re.huH5234him, and fellוַיִּפֹּ֣לvai.yi.PolH5307on his faceפָּנָ֔יוpa.NavH6440,and saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Artthou that my lordאֲדֹנִ֥י'a.do.NiH113Elijahאֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃'e.li.Ya.huH452?

8And he answeredוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559him, I am:goH3212,tellאֱמֹ֥ר'e.MorH559thy lordלַאדֹנֶ֖יךָla.do.Nei.khaH113,Behold, Elijahאֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃'e.li.Ya.huH452is here.

9And he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,What have I sinnedחָטָ֑אתִיcha.Ta.tiH2398,that thou wouldest deliverנֹתֵ֧ןno.TenH5414thy servantעַבְדְּךָ֛'av.de.KhaH5650into the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of Ahabאַחְאָ֖ב'ach.'AvH256,to slayלַהֲמִיתֵֽנִי׃la.ha.mi.Te.niH4191me?

10AsYhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430livethחַ֣י׀chaiH2416,there is noיֶשׁ־yesh-H3426nationגּ֤וֹיGoyH1471or kingdomוּמַמְלָכָה֙u.mam.la.KhahH4467,whitherאֲ֠שֶׁר'a.SherH834my lordאֲדֹנִ֥י'a.do.NiH113hath not sentשָׁלַ֨חsha.LachH7971to seekלְבַקֶּשְׁךָ֔le.va.kesh.ChaH1245thee: and when they saidוְאָמְר֖וּve.'a.me.RuH559, He is not there;he took an oathוְהִשְׁבִּ֤יעַve.hish.Bi.a'H7650of the kingdomהַמַּמְלָכָה֙ha.mam.la.KhahH4467and nationהַגּ֔וֹיha.GoyH1471,that they foundיִמְצָאֶֽכָּה׃yim.tza.'E.kahH4672thee not.
