33The kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428also saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Takeקְח֤וּke.ChuH3947with you the servantsעַבְדֵ֣י'av.DeiH5650of your lordאֲדֹנֵיכֶ֔ם'a.do.nei.KhemH113,and cause Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֣הshe.lo.MohH8010my sonבְנִ֔יve.NiH1121to rideוְהִרְכַּבְתֶּם֙ve.hir.kav.TemH7392upon mine own muleהַפִּרְדָּ֖הha.pir.DahH6506,and bring him downוְהוֹרַדְתֶּ֥םve.ho.rad.TemH3381to Gihonגִּחֽוֹן׃gi.ChonH1521:

34And let Zadokצָד֨וֹקtza.DokH6659the priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548and Nathanוְנָתָ֧ןve.na.TanH5416the prophetהַנָּבִ֛יאha.na.Vi'H5030anointוּמָשַׁ֣חu.ma.ShachH4886him there kingלְמֶ֖לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478:and blowוּתְקַעְתֶּם֙u.te.ka'.TemH8628ye with the trumpetבַּשּׁוֹפָ֔רba.sho.FarH7782,and sayוַאֲמַרְתֶּ֕םva.'a.mar.TemH559,God saveיְחִ֖יye.ChiH2421kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃she.lo.MohH8010.

35Then ye shall come upוַעֲלִיתֶ֣םva.'a.li.TemH5927afterאַחֲרָ֗יו'a.cha.RavH310him, that he may comeוּבָא֙u.Va'H935and sitוְיָשַׁ֣בve.ya.ShavH3427upon my throneכִּסְאִ֔יkis.'IH3678;for he shall be kingיִמְלֹ֖ךְyim.LokhH4427in my stead: and I have appointedצִוִּ֙יתִי֙tzi.Vi.tiH6680him to be rulerנָגִ֔ידna.GidH5057over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478and over Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

36And Benaiahבְּנָיָ֧הוּbe.na.Ya.huH1141the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Jehoiadaיְהֽוֹיָדָ֛עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077answeredוַיַּ֨עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀vai.Yo.merH559,Amenאָמֵ֑ן'a.MenH543:Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֖י'e.lo.HeiH430of my lordאֲדֹנִ֥י'a.do.NiH113the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428sayיֹאמַ֣רyo.MarH559so too.

37As Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hath been with my lordאֲדֹנִ֣י'a.do.NiH113the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,even so be he with Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֑הshe.lo.MohH8010,and makeוִֽיגַדֵּל֙vi.ga.DelH1431his throneכִּסְא֔וֹkis.'OH3678greaterH1431than the throneמִ֨כִּסֵּ֔אmi.ki.Se'H3678of my lordאֲדֹנִ֖י'a.do.NiH113kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִֽד׃da.VidH1732.

38So Zadokצָד֣וֹקtza.DokH6659the priestהַ֠כֹּהֵןHa.ko.henH3548,and Nathanוְנָתָ֨ןve.na.TanH5416the prophetהַנָּבִ֜יאha.na.Vi'H5030,and Benaiahוּבְנָיָ֣הוּu.ve.na.Ya.huH1141the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֗עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077,and the Cherethitesוְהַכְּרֵתִי֙ve.ha.ke.re.TiH3774,and the Pelethitesוְהַפְּלֵתִ֔יve.ha.pe.le.TiH6432,went downוַיֵּ֣רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381,and caused Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010to rideוַיַּרְכִּ֙בוּ֙vai.yar.Ki.vuH7392upon kingהַמֶּ֣לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428David’sדָּוִ֑דda.VidH1732muleפִּרְדַּ֖תpir.DatH6506,and broughtH3212him to Gihonגִּחֽוֹן׃gi.ChonH1521.

39And Zadokצָד֨וֹקtza.DokH6659the priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548tookוַיִּקַּח֩vai.yi.KachH3947an hornקֶ֤רֶןKe.renH7161of oilהַשֶּׁ֙מֶן֙ha.She.menH8081out of the tabernacleהָאֹ֔הֶלha.'O.helH168,and anointedוַיִּמְשַׁ֖חvai.yim.ShachH4886Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֑הshe.lo.MohH8010.And they blewוַֽיִּתְקְעוּ֙vai.yit.ke.'UH8628the trumpetבַּשּׁוֹפָ֔רba.sho.FarH7782;and all the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971saidוַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙vai.yo.me.RuH559,God saveיְחִ֖יye.ChiH2421kingהַמֶּ֥לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃she.lo.MohH8010.

40And all the peopleהָעָם֙ha.'AmH5971came upוַיַּעֲל֤וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927afterאַֽחֲרָ֔יו'a.cha.RavH310him, and the peopleוְהָעָם֙ve.ha.'AmH5971pipedמְחַלְּלִ֣יםme.cha.le.LimH2490with pipesבַּחֲלִלִ֔יםba.cha.li.LimH2485,and rejoicedוּשְׂמֵחִ֖יםu.se.me.ChimH8056with greatגְדוֹלָ֑הge.do.LahH1419joyשִׂמְחָ֣הsim.ChahH8057,so that the earthהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776rentוַתִּבָּקַ֥עva.ti.ba.Ka'H1234with the soundבְּקוֹלָֽם׃be.ko.LamH6963of them.

41And Adonijahאֲדֹנִיָּ֗הוּ'a.do.ni.Ya.huH138and all the guestsהַקְּרֻאִים֙ha.ke.ru.'ImH7121that werewith him heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֣עvai.yish.Ma'H8085itas they had made an endכִּלּ֣וּki.LuH3615of eatingלֶאֱכֹ֑לle.'e.KholH398.And when Joabיוֹאָב֙yo.'AvH3097heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֤עvai.yish.Ma'H8085the soundק֣וֹלKolH6963of the trumpetהַשּׁוֹפָ֔רha.sho.FarH7782,he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Wherefore is thisnoiseקֽוֹל־kol-H6963of the cityהַקִּרְיָ֖הha.kir.YahH7151being in an uproarהוֹמָֽה׃ho.MahH1993?

42And while he yet spakeמְדַבֵּ֔רme.da.BerH1696,behold, Jonathanיוֹנָתָ֛ןyo.na.TanH3129the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Abiatharאֶבְיָתָ֥ר'ev.ya.TarH54the priestהַכֹּהֵ֖ןha.ko.HenH3548cameבָּ֑אBa'H935:and Adonijahאֲדֹנִיָּ֙הוּ֙'a.do.ni.Ya.huH138saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Come inבֹּ֔אBo'H935; for thou arta valiantחַ֛יִלCha.yilH2428manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH381 H376,and bringestH1319goodוְט֥וֹבve.TovH2896tidingsH1319.

43And Jonathanיוֹנָתָ֔ןyo.na.TanH3129answeredוַיַּ֙עַן֙vai.Ya.'anH6030and saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Adonijahלַאֲדֹנִיָּ֑הוּla.'a.do.ni.Ya.huH138,Verilyאֲבָ֕ל'a.ValH61our lordאֲדֹנֵ֥ינוּ'a.do.Nei.nuH113kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ־ha.Me.lekh-H4428Davidדָּוִ֖דda.VidH1732hath made Solomonשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃she.lo.MohH8010kingהִמְלִ֥יךְhim.LikhH4427.
