9And when they had strippedוַיַּ֨פְשִׁיטֻ֔הוּvai.Yaf.shi.Tu.huH6584him, they tookוַיִּשְׂא֥וּvai.yis.'UH5375his headרֹאשׁ֖וֹro.ShoH7218,and his armourכֵּלָ֑יוke.LavH3627,and sentוַיְשַׁלְּח֨וּvay.sha.le.ChuH7971into the landבְאֶֽרֶץ־ve.'e.retz-H776of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֜יםfe.lish.TimH6430round aboutסָבִ֗יבsa.VivH5439,to carry tidingsלְבַשֵּׂ֛רle.va.SerH1319unto their idolsעֲצַבֵּיהֶ֖ם'a.tza.bei.HemH6091,and to the peopleהָעָֽם׃ha.'AmH5971.

10And they putוַיָּשִׂ֙ימוּ֙vai.ya.Si.muH7760his armourכֵּלָ֔יוke.LavH3627in the houseבֵּ֖יתbeitH1004of their godsאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430,and fastenedתָקְע֖וּta.ke.'UH8628his headגֻּלְגָּלְתּ֥וֹgul.gal.ToH1538in the templeבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Dagonדָּגֽוֹן׃ סda.GonH1712.

11And when all Jabesh–gileadיָבֵ֣ישׁ גִּלְעָ֑דya.Veish gil.'AdH1568 H3003heardוַֽיִּשְׁמְע֔וּvai.yish.me.'UH8085all that the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֖יםfe.lish.TimH6430had doneעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213to Saulלְשָׁאֽוּל׃le.sha.'UlH7586,

12They aroseוַיָּקוּמוּ֮vai.ya.ku.MuH6965,all the valiantחַיִל֒cha.YilH2428menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376,and took awayוַיִּשְׂא֞וּvai.yis.'UH5375the bodyגּוּפַ֣תgu.FatH1480of Saulשָׁא֗וּלsha.'UlH7586,and the bodiesגּוּפֹ֣תgu.FotH1480of his sonsבָּנָ֔יוba.NavH1121,and broughtוַיְבִיא֖וּםvay.vi.'UmH935them to Jabeshיָבֵ֑ישָׁהya.Vei.shahH3003,and buriedוַיִּקְבְּר֨וּvai.yik.be.RuH6912their bonesעַצְמוֹתֵיהֶ֜םatz.mo.tei.HemH6106under the oakהָאֵלָה֙ha.'e.LahH424in Jabeshבְּיָבֵ֔שׁbe.ya.VeshH3003,and fastedוַיָּצ֖וּמוּvai.ya.Tzu.muH6684sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117.
