Zephaniah 3:9-20

9For then I will 1restore to the peoples 2pure lips, So that all of them may 3call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him 4shoulder to shoulder.10From beyond the rivers of 5Ethiopia My worshipers, 6My dispersed ones, Will 7bring My offerings.11On that day you will 8feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your 9proud, arrogant ones, And you will never again be haughty On My 10holy mountain.12But I will leave among you A 11humble and lowly people, And they will 12take refuge in the name of the Lord.13The 13remnant of Israel will 14do no wrong And 15tell no lies, Nor will a deceitful tongue Be found in their mouths; For they will 16feed and lie down With no one to frighten them.”

14Shout for joy, daughter of Zion! 17Shout in triumph, Israel! Rejoice and triumph with all your heart, Daughter of Jerusalem!15The Lord has taken away 18His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is 19in your midst; You will no longer 20fear disaster.16 21On that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “22Do not be afraid, Zion; 23Do not let your hands fall limp.17The Lord your God is 24in your midst, A 25 26victorious warrior. He will 27rejoice over you with joy, He will 28be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.18I will gather those who are 29worried about the appointed feasts-- They 30came from you, Zion; The disgrace of exile is a burden on 31them.19Behold, I am going to deal at that time With all your 32oppressors; I will save 33those who limp And gather the scattered, And I will turn their 34shame into 35praise and fame In all the earth.20At that time I will 36bring you in, Even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will make you 37famous and praiseworthy Among all the peoples of the earth, When I 38restore your fortunes before your eyes,” Says the Lord.
