2 Samuel 21:12-22
12then DavidH1732 wentH1980 and tookH3947 1the bonesH6106 of SaulH7586 and the bonesH6106 of his sonH1121 JonathanH3083 from the citizensH1167 of Jabesh-gileadH3003H1568, whoH834 had stolenH1589 them from the publicH7339 squareH7339 of 2Beth-shanH1052, 3whereH834H8033 the PhilistinesH6430 had hangedH8518 them on the dayH3117 4the PhilistinesH6430 struckH5221 andH5221 killedH5221 SaulH7586 in GilboaH1533. 13He broughtH5927 upH5927 from thereH8033 the bonesH6106 of SaulH7586 and the bonesH6106 of his sonH1121 JonathanH3083, and they gatheredH622 the bonesH6106 of those who had been 5hangedH3363. 14Then they buriedH6912 the bonesH6106 of SaulH7586 and his sonH1121 JonathanH3083 in the countryH776 of BenjaminH1144 in 6ZelaH6762, in the graveH6913 of his fatherH1 KishH7027; So they didH6213 everythingH3605 that the kingH4428 commandedH6680, and afterH310 that 7GodH430 respondedH6279 toH6279 prayerH6279 for the landH776.
15Now when 8the PhilistinesH6430 were at warH4421 with IsraelH3478 againH5750, DavidH1732 wentH3381 downH3381, and his servantsH5650 with him; and when they foughtH3898 againstH854 the PhilistinesH6430, DavidH1732 becameH5888 wearyH5888. 16Then Ishbi-benobH3430, whoH834 was 9among the descendantsH3211 of the 10giantH7498, the weightH4948 of whose spearH7013 was 11threeH7969 hundredH3967 shekels of bronzeH5178 in weightH4948, 12had strappedH2296 onH2296 a newH2319 sword, and he 13intendedH559 to killH5221 DavidH1732. 17But 14AbishaiH52 the sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870 helpedH5826 him, and struckH5221 the PhilistineH6430 and killedH4191 him. ThenH227 David’sH1732 menH376 sworeH7650 to him, sayingH559, “15You shall not goH3318 outH3318 againH5750 with us to battleH4421, so that you do not extinguishH3518 16the lampH5216 of IsraelH3478.”
1817Now it cameH1961 aboutH1961 afterH310 thisH3651 that there was warH4421 againH5750 with the PhilistinesH6430 at GobH1359; thenH227 18SibbecaiH5444 the HushathiteH2843 struckH5221 andH5221 killedH5221 SaphH5593, whoH834 was among the descendantsH3211 of the 19giantH7498. 19And there was warH4421 with the PhilistinesH6430 againH5750 at GobH1359, and ElhananH445 the sonH1121 of Jaare-oregimH3296 the BethlehemiteH1022 20killedH5221 21GoliathH1555 the GittiteH1663, 22the shaftH6086 of whose spearH2595 was like a weaver’sH707 beamH4500. 20And there was warH4421 at GathH1661 againH5750, where there was a manH376 of great statureH4060 who had sixH8337 fingersH676 on each handH3027 and sixH8337 toesH676 on each footH7272, twenty-fourH6242H702 in numberH4557; and he alsoH1571 had been bornH3205 23to the 24giantH7498. 21When he defiedH2778 IsraelH3478, JonathanH3083 the sonH1121 of ShimeiH8096, David’sH1732 brotherH251, struckH5221 andH5221 killedH5221 him. 2225TheseH428 fourH702 were bornH3205 to the 26giantH7498 at GathH1661, and they fellH5307 by the handH3027 of DavidH1732 and by the handH3027 of his servantsH5650.
