Samuel 16:9-13
Then 1AbishaiH52 the sonH1121 of ZeruiahH6870 saidH559 to the kingH4428, “WhyH4100 should 2thisH2088 deadH4191 dogH3611 3curseH7043 my lordH113 the kingH4428? NowH4994 let me goH5674 overH5674 and 4cutH5493 offH5493 his headH7218.”
But the kingH4428 saidH559, “56WhatH4100 business of mine is yours, you sonsH1121 of ZeruiahH6870? 7IfH3588 he cursesH7043, and ifH3588 the LordH3068 has toldH559 him, ‘CurseH7043 DavidH1732,’ 8then whoH4310 should sayH559, ‘WhyH4069 have you doneH6213 soH3651?’”
Then DavidH1732 saidH559 to AbishaiH52 and to allH3605 his servantsH5650, “BeholdH2009, 9my sonH1121 whoH834 cameH3318 outH3318 of my own body seeksH1245 my lifeH5315; howH637 muchH637H3588 moreH637H3588 nowH6258 this BenjaminiteH1145? LeaveH5117 him aloneH5117 and let him curseH7043, 10for the LordH3068 has toldH559 him.
PerhapsH194 the LordH3068 will lookH7200 on my 11miseryH6040 and 1213returnH7725 goodH2899 to me insteadH8478 ofH8478 his cursingH7045 thisH2088 dayH3117.”
So DavidH1732 and his menH376 wentH1980 on the roadH1870; and ShimeiH8096 keptH1980 goingH1980 on the hillsideH6763H2022 closeH5980 besideH5980 him, and as he wentH1980 he cursedH7043 and threwH5619 stonesH68 and dirtH6083 at him.
